41 Remote control This projector provides eight different remote control codes (Code 1-Code 8); the factory-set, initial code (Code 1) and the other seven codes (Code 2 to Code 8). This switching function prevents remote control interference when operating several projectors or video equipment at the same time. 42 SETTING The PIN code can be changed to your desired four-digit number. Select PIN code change with the POINT DOWN button, and press the SELECT button. The New PIN code input dialog box will appear. Select a number with the POINT LEFT/RIGHT buttons and fix the number with the SELECT button. Repeat it to complete entering a four-digit number. 45 APPENDIX CLEANING PROJECTION LENS Apply a non-abrasive camera lens cleaner to a dry soft cleaning cloth. A\ void using an excessive amount of cleaner. Abrasive cleaners, solvents or other harsh chemicals might scratch the s\ urface of the lens. 46 APPENDIX Turn off a projector and disconnect AC plug. Allow a projector to cool for at least 45 minutes. Loosen 2 screws with a screwdriver and pull out Lamp Assembly by grasping Handle. 1 3 Replace Lamp Assembly with a new one and tighten 2 screws back. Make sure that Lamp Assembly is set properly. 47 APPENDIX LAMP REPLACE COUNTER Be sure to reset the Lamp Replace Counter after the Lamp Assembly is rep\ laced. When the Lamp Replace Counter is reset, the LAMP REPLACE Indicator stops lighting. NOTE : Do not reset the Lamp Replace Counter until after the Projection \ Lamp is replaced. Turn projector on, press MENU button and ON-SCREEN MENU will appear. 48 APPENDIX TROUBLESHOOTING Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check matte\ rs below once again. 1. Make sure you have connected a projector to your computer or video eq\ uipment as described in section CONNECTINGPROJECTOR on pages 12 ~ 14. 2. Check cable connection.
