    							Set the camera clock.Select  [DATE/TIME]  in the playback menu.

    Press the selector left or right to highli ght the year, month, day, hour, or minute and
    press up or down to change. To change th e order in which the year, month, and day are
    displayed, highlight the date format  and press the selector up or down.2. 
    Press [MENU/OK]  when settings are complete.3.

    							Switch the camera clock instantly from your home time zone to the local time at your
    destination when traveling. To specify the difference between local time and your home time
    zone:
    Highlight  [LOCAL] and press  [MENU/OK] .

    Use the selector to choose the time differen ce between local time and your home time
    zone. Press  [MENU/OK]  when settings are complete.2. 
    To set the camera clock to local time, highlight  [LOCAL] and press  [MENU/OK] . To set the
    clock to the time in your home time zone, select  [HOME]. If [LOCAL]  is selected,   will be
    displayed for three seconds when the camera is turned on.

    A confirmation dialog will be displayed; highlight  [OK] and press  [MENU/OK] .3.

    wireless network and PC auto save options, and custom settings banks created using
    [EDIT/SAVE CUSTOM SETTING]  are not affected.

    							Select [ON] to disable the speaker, flash, and illumina tor in situations in which camera sounds
    or lights may be unwelcome.   appears in the display when silent mode is on.

    New pictures are stored in image files named us ing a four-digit file number assigned by adding
    one to the last file number used. The file numb er is displayed during playback as shown at
    right.  [FRAME NO.]  controls whether file numbering is reset to 0001 when a new memory card
    is inserted or the current memory ca rd or internal memory is formatted.

    Directory number
    File number Numbering continues from the last file number used or the first
    available file number, whichever  is higher. Choose this option to
    reduce the number of pictures with duplicate file names.
    Numbering is reset to 0001 after formatting or when a new memory
    card is inserted.
    If the frame number reaches 999-9999, the shutter release will be disabled.
    Selecting  [RESET] sets [FRAME NO.]  to [CONTINUOUS] but does not reset the file
    number.
    Frame numbers for pictures taken  with other cameras may differ.

    							Choose the direction in which the focus ring is rotated to increase the focus distance in manual
    focus mode.
