    Recording
    Applicable modes: 
    This prevents the recording of wind-noise automatically.
    Settings: [AUTO]/[OFF]Note
    •
    Sound quality may be different than usual when [Wind Cut] is set.•It is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.–[Miniature Effect] (Creative Control Mode)
    –When the [Zoom Mic] is set to [ON]
    Applicable modes: 
    Coupled to the zoom operation, it will clearly record far sounds with tele, and surrounding 
    sounds with wide.
    Settings: [ON]/[OFF]
    Note
    •
    When set to [ON] and performing zoom, the operation sound may be recorded enhanced in 
    accordance with the surrounding sounds. Also, au dio recording level will be lower compared to when 
    [OFF].
    •The stereo effect of the audio is reduced when the picture is enlarged.•It is fixed to [OFF] in the following cases.
    –[Miniature Effect] (Creative Control Mode)
    [Wind Cut]

    Having Fun with Recorded Pictures
    The brightness and color of the pictures taken can be balanced.
    •With [Auto Retouch], a new edited picture is created. Check that there is free space on the built-in 
    memory or the card.
    [Auto Retouch] cannot be used if the card’s Write-Protect switch is set to [LOCK].
    ¢ These pictures are examples to show the effect.
    1Press 2/ 1 to select a picture, and then press 3 .
    2Press 3/4 to select [Auto Retouch], and then press [MENU/SET].
    3Press 3/4 to select [ON], and then press [MENU/SET].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.
    Note
    •Depending on the picture, noise may be emphasized by [Auto Retouch].•Effects may be difficult to see depending on the picture.•It may not be possible to perform [Auto Retouch] on pictures which have already been retouched.
    •[Auto Retouch] may not be performed on pictures recorded with other equipment.•[Auto Retouch] is not possible in the following cases:–Motion pictures
    –3D pictures–Pictures taken in [Panorama Shot] in Scene Mode

    You can add your desired effects to the pictures that you have taken.
    •With [Creative Retouch], a new edited picture is created. Check that there is free space on the 
    built-in memory or the card.
    [Creative Retouch] cannot be used if the card’s Write-Protect switch is set to [LOCK].
    1Press 2/ 1 to select a picture, and then press 3 .
    2Press 3/4 to select [Creative Retouch], and then press [MENU/SET].
    3Press 3/4 to select an item, and then press [MENU/SET].
    •You can select the item from the following options that are also available in the Creative 
    Control mode. Read  P117 for details on the respective effects.
    [Expressive]/[Retro]/[High Key]/[Low Key]/[Sepia][Dynamic Monochrome]/[Impressive Art]/
    [High Dynamic]/[Cross Process]/[Toy Effect]/[Miniature Effect]/[Soft Focus]/[Star Filter]/[One 
    Point Color]
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.•If you press [MENU/SET] while the following items are selected, you can add the image 
    effect that matches your preference.
    Note
    •Effects may be difficult to see depending on the picture.
    •The image effect may appear weak compared to the effect given by the Creative Control Mode.•[Creative Retouch] may not be performed on pictures recorded with other equipment.•[Creative Retouch] is not possible in the following cases:
    –Motion pictures–3D pictures–Pictures taken in [Panorama Shot] in Scene Mode
    [Creative Retouch] 
    –[Cross Process]:You can select the image effect from Greenish, Bluish, 
    Yellowish or Reddish.
    –
    [Toy Effect]:You can select the image effect from Orange emphasized, 
    Standard, Blue emphasized.

    [One Point Color]:Set the color you want to leave.

    Playing Back Burst Pictures (DMC-FZ200) 
    ∫About the burst picture group
    Pictures taken with burst 
    speed set to [ ] or [ ] are recorded as a 
    single burst picture group.
    The burst icon [
    ˜] will be displayed for the burst picture group.
    •
    Deleting and editing in a group unit is possible. (For example, if you delete a 
    burst picture group with [ ˜], all the pictures in that group are deleted.)
    Note
    •Burst pictures recorded after the number of burst pictures has exceeded 50000 will not be grouped.
    •Burst pictures recorded on other cameras may not be recognized as a burst picture group. •Burst pictures will not be grouped if recorded without setting the clock.•If you delete all pictures except one, that picture will be saved as a single picture instead of as a 
    burst picture group.
    Press  2/1  to select a picture with a burst icon [ ˜], and then press  3.
    ∫ Operations when continuously playing back the burst picture group
    The cursor displayed during playback is the same as  3/4/ 2/1.
    ¢ These operations can be performed only in the Pause Mode.
    1Select a picture with a burst icon [ ˜], and then press  4.
    2Press  2/1  to select the picture.
    •Press 4 again to return to the normal playback screen.•The same playback controls used for normal pictures can be used for pictures within the burst 
    picture group. (Such as Multi Playback, Playback Zoom and deleting images)

    •The following editing menu can be used.–[Upload Set]/[Title Edit]/[Text Stamp]/[Resize]/[Cropping]¢/[Leveling]¢/[Favorite]/[Print Set]/
    [Protect]/[Copy]
    ¢  Cannot be used for the entire burst picture group.

    ∫ About display of [Favorite], [Print Set] and [Protect] icons during playback of burst 
    picture groups
    By setting [Favorite]  (P170), [Print Set]  (P171), or [Protect]  (P173) setting to a picture in the 
    Burst Picture Group, number of settings (number of  settings and total number when [Print Set] 
    is set) is displayed on the icon  for the first picture of each group.

    For details on the various ways of editing, refer to “Using the [Playback] menu”.  (P161)•Pictures for which you have perf ormed [Text Stamp], [Resize], [Cro pping] or [Leveling] will be saved 
    separately from burst pictures.

    Various methods of playback
    You can play back the recorded pictures in various methods.
    1Press [MENU/SET] during playback.
    2Press 1.
    3Press 3/4 to select the item and then press [MENU/SET].
    •Following items can be selected.
    ¢The playback method for the 3D pictures can be switched. This item is only displayed 
    during HDMI output. Refer to  P180 for details about the playback method.
    You can play back the pictures you have tak en in synchronization with music, and you can do 
    this in sequence while leaving a fixed interval between each of the pictures.
    You can also put together a slide show compos ed of only still pictures, only motion pictures, 
    only 3D pictures etc.
    We recommend this feature when you view your pictures by connecting the camera to a TV.

    1Select the group to play back by pressing  3/4, and then press [MENU/
    SET].

    •Refer to  P180 for the method to play back [3D Play] pictures in 3D.•During [Category Selection], press  3/4/2 /1 to select a category, 
    and then press [MENU/SET]. Refer to  P159 for category details.
    3Press 3 to select [Start] and then press [MENU/SET].
    4Press 4 to finish the slide show.
    •Normal playback resumes after the slide show finishes.

    ∫Operations performed during slide show
    The cursor displayed during playback is the same as  3/4/ 2/1.
    ¢ Operable only in the following cases.
    –in the Pause Mode–during motion picture playback–during panorama picture playback
    ∫Changing the slide show settings
    You can change the settings for slide show playback by selecting [Effect] or [Setup] on the slide 
    show menu screen.
    [Effect]
    This allows you to select the screen effects when switching from one picture to the next.
    [NATURAL], [SLOW], [SWING], [URBAN], [OFF], [AUTO]
    •
    When [URBAN] has been selected, the picture may appear in black and white as a screen effect.•[AUTO] can be used only when [Category Selection] has been selected. The pictures are played 
    back with the recommended effects in each category.
    •Some [Effect] will not operate when playing back pictures displayed vertically.•Screen effects do not operate during a [3D Play] slide show.

    Pictures are classified into only still pictures, only motion pictures, or only 3D pictures etc., and 
    played back.
    ∫ About the categories to be sorted
    It will be sorted as following when [Category Selection] is set.
    ¢ 1Press  3/4 /2 /1 to select the person to play back and then press [MENU/SET].
    ¢ 2 The whole group with pictures taken with burst settings [ ] and [ ] will be treated as face 
    recognition pictures.

    (such as [Portrait], [Scenery] or [Night Scenery]) and sort the pictures into 
    each of the categories. You can then play back the pictures in each 
    category.

    Only the category for which pictures have been 
    found can be selected.

    You can display pictures by recording date.Note
    •
    The recording date of the picture selected in the playback screen becomes the date selected when 
    the calendar screen is first displayed.
    •If there are multiple pictures with the same record ing date, the first picture recorded on that day is 
    displayed.
    •You can display the calendar between January 2000 and December 2099.•If the date is not set in the camera, the recording date is set as January 1st, 2012.
    •If you take pictures after setting the travel destination in [World Time], the pictures are displayed by 
    the dates at the travel destination in Calendar Playback.

    •If there were no pictures recorded during a month, that month is not 
    displayed.
    2Press [MENU/SET] to display the pictures that were 
    recorded on the selected date.
