    Playback/Editing
    It is possible to setup the images to be uploaded to the image sharing sites (Facebook/
    YouTube) on this unit.
    •
    You can only upload motion pictures to YouTube, while you may upload both motion pictures 
    and still pictures to Facebook.
    •This cannot be done to the images in the built-in memory. Copy the images to a card 
    (P145), and then perform the [UPLOAD SET].
    Select [UPLOAD SET] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.  (P46)
    Press  3/4 to select [SINGLE] or [MULTI] and then press [MENU/
    SET].
    ∫ Upload to the image sharing sites
    An upload tool built-in to the camera “LUMIX Image Uploader” is automatically copied to 
    the card when you setup [UPLOAD SET].
    Perform the upload operation after connecting the camera to a PC  (P155). For details, 
    refer to  P158.
    ∫ Canceling all the [UPLOAD SET] settings
    1Select [UPLOAD SET] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.2Press  3/4  to select [CANCEL] and then press [MENU/SET].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    Note
    •Setting may not be possible for pictures recorded with other cameras.•It cannot be set with a card with less than 512 MB of memory.
    [UPLOAD SET]
    Select the picture, and then 
    press [MENU/SET] to set.
    [MULTI] setting
    Press [DISPLAY] to set (repeat), and 
    then press [MENU/SET] to set.
    •
    The setting is canceled when 
    [DISPLAY] is pressed again.
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is 
    executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    [SINGLE] [MULTI]
    Press  2/1 to select 
    the picture. Press 
    3/4 /2 /1 to

    You can add text (comments) to pictures. After text has been registered, it can be stamped 
    in prints using [TEXT STAMP] (P134).
    Select [TITLE EDIT] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.  (P46)
    Press  3/4 to select [SINGLE] or [MULTI] and then press [MENU/
    SET].
    Enter the text.  (P103)
    •Exit the menu after it is set.
    Note
    •To delete the title, erase all the text in the text input screen.•You can print out texts (comments) using the “PHOTOfunSTUDIO” bundled software on the 
    CD-ROM (supplied).
    •You can set up to 50 pictures at one time with [MULTI].•You cannot use [TITLE EDIT] for the following pictures.–Motion pictures–Pictures recorded with other equipment
    [TITLE EDIT]
    Select the picture, and then 
    press [MENU/SET] to set.
    •[’] is displayed for pictures with titles 
    already registered.
    [MULTI] setting
    Press [DISPLAY] to set (repeat), and 
    then press [MENU/SET] to set.

    The setting is canceled when 
    [DISPLAY] is pressed again.
    [SINGLE] [MULTI]
    Press  2/1 to select 
    the picture. Press

    Playback/Editing
    Recorded motion picture can be divided in two. It is recommended for when you want to divide a part you need with a part you do not need.
    It cannot be restored once divided.
    Note
    •
    [VIDEO DIVIDE] may not be performed on motion pictures recorded with other equipment.•Motion pictures cannot be divided at a location close to the start or end of the motion picture.•With [MP4] motion pictures, the order of pictures will change if divided.
    It is recommended to search these motion pictures by using [CALENDAR] or [VIDEO ONLY] in 
    the [MODE PLAY].
    •Motion pictures with a short recording time cannot be divided.
    [VIDEO DIVIDE]
    Select [VIDEO DIVIDE] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.  (P46)
    Press  2/1 to select the motion picture to divide, and then press 
    [MENU/SET].
    Press  3 at the location to divide.
    •Motion picture is played back from the same location when  3 is 
    pressed again.
    •You can finely adjust the location for division by pressing  2/1 
    while the motion picture is paused.
    Press  4.
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    •Motion picture may be lost if the card or battery is removed while processing the 
    dividing.

    You can stamp the recording date/time, name, location, Travel Date or title onto the 
    recorded pictures.
    Select [TEXT STAMP] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu. (P46)
    Press  3/4 to select [SINGLE] or [MULTI] and then press [MENU/
    SET].
    \Press  3/4 to select text stamp items, and then press  1.
    [TEXT STAMP]
    Select the picture, and then 
    press [MENU/SET] to set.
    •[‘ ] appears on screen if the picture is 
    stamped with text.
    [MULTI] setting
    Press [DISPLAY] to set (repeat), and 
    then press [MENU/SET] to set.
    •
    The setting is canceled when 
    [DISPLAY] is pressed again.
    [SINGLE] [MULTI]
    Press  2/1 to select 
    the picture. Press 
    3/4 /2 /1 to

    Press [MENU/SET].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    Note
    •When you print pictures stamped with text, the date will be printed over the stamped text if you 
    specify printing of the date at the photo shop or on the printer.
    •You can set up to 50 pictures at one time in [MULTI].•The picture quality may deteriorate when text stamping is carried out.•Depending on the printer being used, some characters may be cut at printing. Check before 
    printing.
    •When text is stamped onto the images smaller than 0.3 M, it is difficult to read it.•Text and dates cannot be stamped on the pictures in the following cases.–Motion pictures–Pictures recorded without setting the clock and title–Pictures that were previously stamped with [TEXT STAMP]–Pictures recorded with other equipment

    To allow easy posting to web pages, attachment to e-mail etc., picture size (number of 
    pixels) is reduced.
    Select [RESIZE] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu. (P46)
    Note
    •You can set up to 50 pictures at one time in [MULTI].•The picture quality of the resized picture will deteriorate.•It may not be possible to resize pictures recorded with other equipment.•The [RESIZE] feature is disabled during the following conditions:–Motion pictures–Pictures that were previously stamped with [TEXT STAMP]

    Press  3/4 to select [SINGLE] or [MULTI] and then press [MENU/
    SET].
    Select the picture and size.
    [SINGLE] setting
    1Press  2/1  to select the picture, and then press 
    [MENU/SET].
    2Press  2/1  to select the size, and then press 
    [MENU/SET].
    •
    Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when 
    [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    [MULTI] setting
    1Press  3/4  to select the size, and then press 
    [MENU/SET].
    2Press  3/4 /2 /1 to select the picture, and then 
    press [DISPLAY].
    •
    Repeat this step for each picture, and press [MENU/SET] 
    to set.
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when 
    [YES] is selected.

    You can enlarge and then crop the important part of the recorded picture.
    Select [CROPPING] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu. (P46)
    Press [MENU/SET].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    Note
    •The picture quality of the cropped picture will deteriorate.•It may not be possible to crop pictures recorded with other equipment.•The [CROPPING] feature is disabled during the following conditions:–Motion pictures–Pictures that were previously stamped with [TEXT STAMP]•Information regarding the Face Recognition in the original picture will not be copied to images 
    having undergone [CROPPING].
    [CROPPING]
    Press  2/1 to select the picture, and then press [MENU/SET].
    Use the zoom lever and press  3/4/2/1 to select the parts to be 
    cropped.
    Zoom lever (T): Enlargement
    Zoom lever (W): Reduction

    Minute tilting of the image can be adjusted.
    Select [LEVELING] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu. (P46)
    Press  2/1 to select the picture, and then press [MENU/SET].
    Press  2/1 to adjust the tilting, and press [MENU/
    SET].
    1 : clockwise
    2 : counter-clockwise
    •
    Up to 2 o can be adjusted.•Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.
    Note
    •Quality of image may become coarse when leveling is performed.•Leveling may not be performed on images recorded with other equipment.•The [LEVELING] feature is disabled during the following conditions:–Motion pictures–Pictures that were previously stamped with [TEXT STAMP]•Information regarding the Face Recognition in the original picture will not be copied to images 
    having undergone [LEVELING].

    Playback/Editing
    This mode allows you to automatically display pictures vertically if they were recorded 
    holding the camera vertically.
    Select [ROTATE DISP.] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.  (P46)
    Note
    •When you play back pictures on a PC, they canno t be displayed in the rotated direction unless 
    the OS or software is compatible with Exif. Exif  is a file format for still pictures which allows 
    recording information etc. to be added. It was established by “JEITA (Japan Electronics and 
    Information Technology Industries Association)”.
    •It may not be possible to rotate pictures that have been recorded with other equipment.•The display is not rotated during Multi Playback.
    [ROTATE DISP.]
    Press  4 to select [ON] and then press [MENU/SET].
    •The pictures are displayed without being rotated when you select [OFF].

    You can do the following if a mark has been added to pictures and they have been set as 
    favorites. –
    Play back only the pictures set as favorites. ([FAVORITE PLAY])–Play back the pictures set as favorites only as a slide show.–Delete all the pictures not set as favorites. ([ALL DELETE EXCEPT Ü])
    Select [FAVORITE] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.  (P46)
    Press  3/4 to select [SINGLE] or [MULTI] and then press [MENU/
    SET].
    ∫ Canceling all the [FAVORITE] settings
    1Select [FAVORITE] on the [PLAYBACK] Mode menu.2Press  3/4  to select [CANCEL] and then press [MENU/SET].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [YES] is selected.

    Note
    •You can set up to 999 pictures as favorites.•You may not be able to set pictures taken with other equipment as favorites.
    [FAVORITE]
    Select the picture, and then 
    press [MENU/SET].
    •[Ü ] is displayed on pictures that are 
    already registered as favorites.
    [MULTI] setting
    •Repeat these steps for each picture.•The settings are canceled when 
    [MENU/SET] is pressed again.
    •Exit the menu after it is set.
    [SINGLE] [MULTI]
    Press  2/1 to select 
    the picture. Press 
    3/4 /2 /1 to
