    About the screen indications in the Live Cast Mode
    ≥Recording is performed in Intelligent Auto Mode.
    ≥ In Live Cast Mode, [REC FORMAT] is set to [AVCHD], and [REC MOD E] (l173 ) is set to [PH]/
    [HA]/[HG]/[HE].
    ≥ If you record an image when the LCD monitor of this unit is clo sed with the screen facing outward, 
    the LCD monitor turns off.
    ≥ If this unit is on the e-mail send er block list of destination devices or if their firewall setting is 
    enabled, the Wi-Fi function may not work correctly when you sen d an e-mail. If this occurs, check 
    the network settings.
    ≥ When the live broadcast cannot be watched on a USTREAM applicat ion for TVs or smartphones, 
    cancel the Password for the Program, and restart the broadcast.
    ≥ Image content may be leaked to third parties depending on the U STREAM image publication 
    method settings. Set the publication range and Password using U STREAM if required.

    To configure the e-mail delivery settings
    You can make the delivery setting of a broadcast notification e -mail and the setting for the 
    scheduled time and date of the broadcast indicated in the e-mai l.
    1Touch [Send E-mail].

    2 Touch the desired image quality.
    ≥Frame rate in parentheses are when recorded in simultaneously.
    ≥ Depending on the line status of the broadband line, mobile rout er (tethering), etc. to which this 
    unit is connected, the image and sound may be interrupted or th e connection may be lost. Set the 
    image quality on this unit by referring to the recommended opti mal speeds (upstream) above.
    ≥ For information on the optimal speed, contact your service prov ider, etc.
    ≥ If the image being broadcast appears as if frames were dropped  or stops when [AUTO] is set, 
    change [IMAGE QUALITY] according to your environment.
    ≥ If the selected image quality has an image quality higher than  the one you are using, images will 
    appear as if the frame rate is low.
    ≥ Operation cannot be guaranteed for all devices.
    ≥ Even with a broadband line, the recommended optimal speed may n ot be reached depending on 
    your environment.
    ≥ Narrowband lines such as analog modems cannot be used.
    ≥ If the line for the smartphone is switched, communication may be interrupted. In that case, 
    connect again.
    [ON]:Enables e-mailing.

    Using the [Wi-Fi Setup Wizard] to set up a connection
    With the smartphone application “Image App”, you can transfer t he following information between 
    the smartphone and this unit by using the NFC or QR code functi on.
    ≥ Set [Direct Connection Password] in [Wi-Fi Setup] to [ON]. ( l187 )
    (The default setting is [OFF].)
    * Acquire a Login ID and Password for the “LUMIX CLUB” on this u nit in advance.
    ≥ Install the smartphone application “Image App” on your smartpho ne. (l174)
    ≥ Set the NFC function of the smartphone to ON.
    1Press Wi-Fi button on this unit and touch [Wi-Fi Setup]. 
    2Touch [Wi-Fi Setup Wizard].
    3Touch [YES].
    4Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.
    5Touch the smartphone on   of this unit.≥Touch the NFC touch area while the NFC mark is displayed on the  smartphone screen.
    ≥ If this is the first time the sm artphone is connecting to this  unit, touch [YES] on the screen of this 
    unit, and then touch the smartphone on   of this unit again.
    ≥ When the connection is complete, the setup screen is displayed  on the smartphone.
    6Follow the on-screen instructions of the smartphone to set up a connection.≥When the settings is complete, the smartphone and this unit are  connected directly, allowing you

    When [QR code] is selected
    1 Start up the smartphone application “Image App”.
    2 On the smartphone, select [QR code], and scan the QR code displ ayed on the 
    screen of this unit.
    ≥ The setup screen is displayed on the smartphone.
    ≥ When using an iOS device, perform the following operations:
    1 Select the option that allows you to install the app on the pro file screen of the “Image App”, and 
    follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
    2 Press the home button to close the displayed screen.
    3 Touch [NEXT] on the screen of t his unit to display its SSID.
    4 After selecting the network name (SSID) of this unit from the W i-Fi setup of the smartphone, 
    start up “Image App”.
    3 Follow the on-screen instructions of the smartphone to set up a connection.≥When the settings is complete, the smartphone and this unit are  connected directly, allowing you 
    to use remote operations. ( l147 )
    When [Wi-Fi] is selected≥If you are using an Android device, start up the smartphone app lication “Image App”.
    1(If the device is Android)
    On the smartphone, select [Wi-Fi], and select the SSID displaye d on this unit.(If the device is iOS)
    On the smartphone, select the SSID displayed on this unit from  the Wi-Fi setup menu.
    2(If the device is Android)
    Enter the Password displayed on this unit.(If the device is iOS)
    After entering the Password displayed on this unit, start up the “Image App”.
    3 Follow the on-screen instructions of the smartphone to set up a connection.
    ≥When the settings is complete, the smartphone and this unit are  connected directly, allowing you

    Connecting to a wireless access point
    Check if the wireless access point you are using is compatible with WPSjIf the wireless access poin t is compatible with WPS:
    Proceed to the following [WPS Connection]

    wireless access point. (When using a tethering connection, plea se 
    read the operating instructions for the smartphone.)
    ≥ A message is displayed when the connection is complete. Touch 
    [ENTER], and exit [Wireless Settings].
    ≥ A message is displayed when the connection attempt fails. Touch  
    [ENTER], and set the connection again.

    ≥ If you touch   and select a wireless access point, all character s will be displayed. In this 
    case, touch [ENTER].
    3 Enter the PIN code displayed on this unit screen into the wirel ess access 
    point.
    ≥ For further details, please read the operating instructions for  the wireless access point. (When 
    using a tethering connection, please read the operating instruc tions for the smartphone.)
    4Touch [NEXT].≥A message is displayed when the connection is complete. Touch [ ENTER], and exit [Wireless 
    Settings].
    ≥ A message is displayed when the connection attempt fails. Touch  [ENTER], and set the 
    connection again.
    ≥ Confirm Encryption key (Password)  of the selected wireless access point if the network 
    authentication is encrypted.
    1Press Wi-Fi button on this unit. 
    2Touch [Wi-Fi Setup].
    3Touch [Wireless Settings].
    4Touch the part with no display of a wireless 
    access point.
    ≥ For information on how to delete wireless access points or 
    change the search order of wireless access points, please

    5Touch [Search for wireless network].
    6Touch the wireless access point to connect.≥If you touch [Refresh], you can search for wireless access 
    points again.
    ≥ If you touch   and select a wireless access point, all character s will be displayed. In this 
    case, touch [ENTER].
    ≥ When no wireless access points are displayed, refer to “Setting  up a connection manually”.
