    ≥FULL HD Slow Motion Video recording uses the following settings :

    */ If you switch to FULL HD Slow Motion Video Mode when [REC FORMA T] is set to [4K MP4], the 
    [REC FORMAT] setting will change to [MP4/iFrame] and the [REC MODE] setting of [1080/28M] 
    will be selected for [MP4/iFrame]. When you switch from FULL HD  Slow Motion Video Mode to a 
    different Recording Mode, [REC FORMAT] will not be reset to [4K  MP4]. 
    The [REC FORMAT] setting of [MP 4/iFrame] and the [REC MODE] set ting of [1080/28M] will be 
    maintained.
    ≥ The shutter speed is 1/120 or more.
    ≥ The following restrictions apply to FULL HD Slow Motion Video M ode:
    j The number of pixels/frame rate are fixed to 1920 k1080/60p.
    j The sound of the parts will not be recorded ( will be displayed  during the recording).
    j Still pictures cannot be recorded.
    j The size of the image displayed on the screen will change.
    j Images and sound are not output from this unit to another devic e.
    ≥ When you switch to FULL HD Slow Motion Video Mode, the screen m ay become black 
    momentarily.
    ≥ When FULL HD Slow Motion Video recording starts, the following  settings are canceled:
    j AF/AE tracking
    j PRE-REC
    j Fade
    ≥ On the thumbnail screen in Playback Mode, scenes recorded as FU LL HD Slow Motion Video are 
    displayed with the   indication.
    ≥ You can set the playback speed on this unit in [SLOW PLAY SPEED ] (l 97). In addition, you can 
    set the playback speed on another device to 1/4 normal speed in  [Slow Speed Conversion] 
    ( l 123 ).
    ≥ Change the Recording Mode to  . ( l53)
    1 Record a motion picture.
    2 Switch this unit to Playback Mode, and create still pictures fr om the motion 
    picture (
    l95 )≥Scenes recorded with the 4K Photo Mode function are displayed wi th the   indication on the

    ≥ Use an SD card conforming to Class 10 of the SD Speed Class whe n you want to record 4K

    ≥Change the Recording Mode to  . ( l53)1 Press the   button to record the still pictures. (l26)
    2 Touch [Enter].
    ≥A still picture will be recorded, and it will be displayed in a  semi-transparent state on the recording 
    screen. Look at the picture to estimate how far you should move  the subject for the next 
    recording.
    ≥ If you have already recorded still pictures in the recording gr oup, the last still picture will be 
    displayed in a semi-transparent state on the recording screen.
    ≥ To record again, touch   and record again.
    3 Move the subject and determine the composition of the picture.≥Repeat Steps 1-3 to continue recording.
    ≥ You can save still pictures in the same recording group until y ou use [Create Stop Motion].
    Creating a new recording group
    ≥If you touch [YES], a new recording group will be created and t he recording screen will be 
    displayed.
    ≥ Once you create a recording group, you cannot save still pictur es in any of the older recording 
    groups.
    ≥ [PICTURE SIZE] is set to   (1920 k1080).
    ≥ When you want to record still pictures in a separate recording  group, use a different SD card.
    ≥ For details on playback of the Stop Motion Animation Assist Mode, refer to page  11 4.
    Stop Motion Animation Assist
    Before recording in Stop Motion Animation Assist ModeYou can create a slideshow that appears to be moving by recordi ng the subject while moved a 
    little at a time.
    ≥ Each recording group can store up to 999 still pictures recorde d in Stop Motion Animation 
    Assist Mode.

    ≥The Manual Focus, White Balance, Shutter Speed, Brightness (Iris and Gain) settings are 
    retained when you change between Motion Picture Recording Mode and Still Picture 
    Recording Mode.
    Push the Multi Manual Dial to switch to Manual Mode.≥When an item on the manual icon or the picture quality adjustme nt icon (l89) is not selected, 
    each time you push the Multi Manual Dial, the manual icon and t he picture quality adjustment 
    icon are displayed alternately. Display the manual icon.
    ≥ It is also possible to switch to Manual Mode by touching the Re cording Mode button icon. (l53)

    White Balance
    Automatic White Balance function may not reproduce natural colors depending on the scenes or 
    lighting conditions. If so, you can adjust the White Balance ma nually.

    Whenever recording conditions change, re-set the White Balance.
    ≥ When setting both the White Balance and the iris/gain, set the  White Balance first.

    Manual shutter speed/iris adjustment
    Shutter Speed:
    Adjust it when recording fast-moving subjects.
    Iris:
    Adjust it when the screen is too bright or too dark.
    ≥Switch to Manual Mode. ( l64)

    ≥ The shutter speed will be set between 1/2 and 1/2000 in Still P icture Recording Mode.

    ≥When setting both the shutter speed and the iris/gain value, se t the shutter speed and then set 
    the iris/gain value.
    Manual shutter speed adjustment
    ≥ When the shutter speed is set lower than 1/15 in the Still Pict ure Recording Mode, using a tripod 
    is recommended. The shutter speed will be set to 1/30 when the  unit is turned on again.
    ≥ You may see a band of light around an object that is shining ve ry bright, or highly reflective.
    ≥ During normal playback, image movement may not look smooth.
    ≥ If you record an extremely bright object or record under indoor  lighting, color and screen 
    brightness may change or a horizontal line may appear on the sc reen. In this case, record in the 
    Intelligent Auto Mode or set the shutter speed to 1/60 in areas  where the power supply frequency 
    is 60 Hz, or 1/100 in areas of 50 Hz.
    ≥ Brightness of the image displayed on the LCD monitor may be dif ferent from brightness of the 
    image actually recorded during the Still Picture Recording Mode . Confirm the image on the 
    playback screen after recording.
    Manual iris/gain adjustment
    ≥ If the gain value is increased, the noise on the screen increases.
    ≥ Depending on the zoom magnification, there are iris values that  are not displayed.

    Manual Focus adjustment
    If auto focusing is difficult due to the conditions, then use Manual Focus.

    focus. It is also possible to change the magnification window’s  magnification level and position.

    ≥ Set [REC FORMAT] to [4K MP4].

    1 Touch and hold the LCD monitor when the recording screen 
    is displayed or press and hold the Multi Manual Dial.

    ≥ If you rotate the LCD monitor to face forward to record yoursel f while the magnification window is 
    displayed, the operations below cannot be performed. Return the  direction of the LCD monitor to 
    normal position and before performing these operations.
