    • When    appears on the screen while a button is being pressed, it means that the corresponding operation is prohibited by 
    the unit or the disc.
      Edit → Change Thumbnail
    DVD-RRAM
    You can change an image to be shown as a thumbnail picture in 
    the Title View.
    2  Press PLAY/×1.3 to start play.
    3  Press ENTER when the image you want to use as a 
    thumbnail is shown.
    •  See “For quicker editing” below.
    • To change to another point in the same title:
    Select “Change” with ▲▼ and press PLAY/×1.3, and then repeat 
    Steps 3~4.
    4 Press ▲▼ to select “Exit” and press ENTER.•  The displayed scene is changed at this point.

    You can divide a selected title into two. You must make sure when 
    dividing a title because it cannot be recovered after the procedure.
    3 Press ▲▼ to select “Exit” and press ENTER.
    2  Press ENTER at the point you want to divide the 
    title.

    • To confirm the division point:
    Press ▲▼ to select “Preview” and press ENTER. (Play will begin 
    from a point 10 seconds prior to and after the division point.)
    • To change the division point:
    Press ▲▼ to select “Divide” and press ENTER at the point you want 
    to change.

    1 Press ▲▼◄► to select a picture in the DIRECT 
    NAVIGATOR screen and press ENTER.
    •  The selected picture is displayed in full screen.
    2  Press SUB MENU.
      Rotate
    3 Press ▲▼ to select “Rotate RIGHT” or “Rotate 
    LEFT,” and press ENTER.
    • Rotate RIGHT:
    Picture is rotated 90° clockwise.
    • Rotate LEFT:
    Picture is rotated 90° counterclockwise.
    Note:•  Rotation information will not be stored.

    and “Cancel Protection”. Release the protection to access other items.
    1  Press SD or DVD to select the drive.
    2  Press DIRECT NAVIGATOR.• RAM Press ▲▼◄► to select “PICTURE” tab and press ENTER.

    Notes:•  The locked picture cannot be erased.
    •  Once erased, the recorded contents are lost and cannot be restored. Make 
    certain before proceeding.
    •  When erasing a folder, even the files not containing still pictures will also 
    be erased if they are inside the folder. (This does not apply to folders 
    under the folder concerned.)

    2 Press ◄► to select “Yes” and press ENTER.•  The lock symbol “”appears when the still picture is protected.
    If set, this will protect the still picture from accidental erasure.

    You can select a whole folder or individual pictures for printing and 
    specify the number of prints to be made. “DPOF” means Digital 
    Print Order Format.
    2 Press ◄► to select number of print (0 to 9) and 
    press ENTER.
    • “” mark is displayed.
    •  This appears on the still pictures inside a folder when you make the 
    DPOF setting for the folder.
