    TV-Holder  Screw (M8 X L19)
    To	prevent	the	TV	from	fallin\b
    1.	 Remove the screw attached to the \yback o\f your TV, then connect the\y Holder-TV to the TV with\y the screw\b
     
    ✎Make sure to only use the supplied screw\b
    2.	 Firmly \fasten the s\ycrew to the wall or \ycabinet where the TV is to be \yinstalled\b Tie the TV-Holder attached to\y the TV and the

    I\f the TV seems to \yhave a problem, first try thi\ys list o\f possible \yproblems and solution\ys\b I\f none o\f these \ytroubleshooting tips\y 
    apply, visit “www\bsamsung\bcom,” then\y click on Support, \yor call Samsung cus\ytomer service at 1\y-800-SAMSUNG\b
    Issues Solutions	and	Explanations
    Poor picture First o\f all, please per\form the Picture	Test  and confirm that your TV is properly displaying test image\b
    (go to  MENU  - Support 	- 	Self 	Dia\bnosis 	- 	Picture 	Test )(p\b 24)
    I\f the test image is properly displayed, the poor picture may caused by the source or signal\b
    The TV image does not look as good as it 
    did in the store\b •
      I\f you have an analog cable/satellite box, upgrade to an HD digital set top box\b Use HDMI or 
    Component cables to deliver HD (high definition) picture quality\b
    •   Cable/Satellite subscribers: Try HD stations \from the channel line up\b
    •   Antenna connection: Try HD stations a\fter per\forming Auto program\b
     
    ✎Many HD channels are upscaled \from SD(Standard Definition) contents\b
    •   Adjust the Cable/Sat box video output resolution to 1080i or 720p\b
    The picture is distorted: macroblock error, 
    small block, dots, pixelization\b •
      Compression o\f video contents may cause picture distortion, especially in \fast moving pictures such 
    as sports and action movies\b
    •   Low signal level can cause picture distortion\b This is not a TV problem\b
    Color is wrong or missing\b •  I\f you’re using a component connection, make sure the component cables are connected to the 
    correct jacks\b Incorrect or loose connections may cause color problems or a blank screen\b

    Sound Problem First o\f all, please per\form the Sound	Test  to confirm that your TV audio is properly operating

    I\f the audio is OK, the sound problem may caused by the source or signal\b
    There is no sound or the sound is too low 
    at maximum volume\b •
      Please check the volume o\f the device (Cable/Sat Box, DVD, Blu-ray etc) connected to your TV\b
    The picture is good but there is no sound\b •  Set the  Speaker 	Select  option to  TV	Speaker  in the Sound  menu (p\b 20)\b
    •   I\f you are using an external device, make sure the audio cables are connected to the correct audio 
    input jacks on the TV\b
    •   I\f you are using an external device, check the device’s audio output option (ex\b you may need to 
    change your cable box’s audio option to HDMI when you have a HDMI connected to your TV)\b
    •   I\f you are using a DVI to HDMI cable, a separate audio cable is required\b
    •   I\f your TV has a headphone jack, make sure there is nothing plugged into it\b
    •   Reboot the connected device by reconnecting the device’s power cable\b
    The speakers are making an inappropriate 
    noise\b •
      Check cable connections\b Make sure a video cable is not connected to an audio input\b
    •   For antenna or Cable connections, check the signal strength\b Low signal level may cause sound

    No Picture, No Video
    The TV won’t turn on\b •  Make sure the AC power cord is securely plugged in to the wall outlet and the TV\b
    •   Make sure the wall outlet is working\b
    •   Try pressing the  POWER button on the TV to make sure the problem is not the remote\b I\f the TV turns 
    on, re\fer to ‘Remote control does not work’ below\b
    The TV turns o\f\f automatically\b •  Ensure the  Sleep	Timer  is set to  Off in the  Setup menu (p\b 20)\b
    •   I\f your PC is connected to the TV, check your PC power settings\b
    •   Make sure the AC power cord is plugged in securely to the wall outlet and the TV\b
    •   When watching TV \from an antenna or cable connection, the TV will turn o\f\f a\fter 10 - 15 minutes i\f 
    there is no signal\b
    There is no picture/video\b •  Check cable connections (remove and reconnect all cables connected to the TV and external 
    devices)\b
    •   Set your external devices’ (Cable/Sat Box, DVD, Blu-ray etc) video outputs to match the connections 
    to the TV input\b For example, i\f an external device’s output is : HDMI, TV’s input : HDMI
    •   Make sure your connected devices are powered on\b
    •   Be sure to select the TV’s correct source by pressing the  SOURCE	button on the remote control\b
    •   Reboot the connected device by reconnecting the device’s power cable\b
    RF(Cable/Antenna) Connection
    The TV is not receiving all channels\b •  Make sure the coaxial cable is connected securely\b
    •   Please try  Auto	Pro\bram  to add available channels to the channel list\b Go to  MENU - Channel 	-	
    Auto 	Pro\bram  then select Auto and make sure the correct Cable TV signal type is set in the menu\b 
    There are 3 options ( STD,	HRC  and  IRC) (p\b 14)
    •   Veri\fy the Antenna is positioned correctly\b
    No Caption on digital channels\b •  Check Caption Setup menu\b Try changing  Caption Mode 	Service1  to CC1 	(p\b 23)\b 
    •   Some channels may not have caption data\b
    The picture is distorted: macroblock error,

    The video is OK but there is no audio\b •  I\f you are using an HDMI connection, check the audio output setting on your PC\b
    Network Connection
    The wireless network connection \failed\b •  The Samsung Wireless USB dongle is required to use a wireless network\b
    •   Make sure the Network Connection is set to  Wireless	(p\b 28)\b 
    •   Make sure the TV is connected to a Wireless IP Sharer (router)\b
    So\ftware Upgrade over the network \fails\b •  Try network test in  Setup menu (p\b 23)\b
    •   I\f you have latest SW version, SW upgrade will not proceed\b
    Others
    Purple/green rolling horizontal bars and 
    buzzing noise \from the TV speakers with 
    Component cable connection\b •
      Remove the le\ft and right audio connections \from the set-top-box\b I\f the buzzing stops, this indicates 
    that the set-top-box has a grounding issue\b Replace the Component video cables with an HDMI 
    connection\b
    The picture won’t display in \full screen\b •  HD channels will have black bars on either side o\f the screen when displaying upscaled SD (4:3) 
    contents\b
    •   Black bars on the top and bottom will appear during movies that have aspect ratios di\f\ferent \from 
    your TV\b
    •   Adjust the picture size options on your external device or TV to \full screen\b
    The remote control does not work\b •  Replace the remote control batteries with the poles (+/–) in the right direction\b
    •   Clean the sensor’s transmission window on the remote\b
    •   Try pointing the remote directly at the TV \from 5~6 \feet away\b
