4 ELEMENTS TO BREW THE PERFECT \FCUP
A great cup of coffee starts with
    fresh, qua\bity water. Since water
    represents more than 98% of
brewed coffee, it is just as important
as the coffee qua\bity itse\bf. The
water you use shou\bd taste \bi\fe
    fresh, good-qua\bity dri\in\fing water,
    have an odor\bess aroma, and
    contain no visib\be imp\iurities.
The partic\be size of the coffee
grind is vita\b for ensuring proper
    flavor and extraction. A coffee
grind that is too coarse wi\b\b a\b\bow
water to pass through too quic\f\by
    without proper extraction. A coffee
grind that is too fine wi\b\b \bead
    to over-extraction and produce
    a bitter taste. Your Mi\b\b & Brew
    ™
coffee ma\fer comes with a Grind
    setting to se\bect the optima\b \igrind,
corre\bating with the number \iof cups
to be brewed and ensuring proper
grind size for this type of coffee
    ma\fer.
                 A tru\by fresh cup of coffee on\by
    comes from fresh\by ground coffee
beans. In fact, once a coffee bean
is bro\fen or ground, its flavor wi\b\b
begin to degrade over time. Your
    Mi\b\b & Brew coffee ma\fer maximizes
the freshness of your coffee by
grinding the coffee beans just prior
    to brewing.
It is important to use the proper
    coffee-to-water ratio to produce a
finished brew that isn’t too strong
or wea\f. When using who\be\i coffee
    beans or pre-ground coffee, we
    recommend using 1 tab\b\iespoon for
every 1 cup of brewed coffee. This
proportion may be adjusted to suit
your individua\b taste, or try the Brew
    Strength Se\bector to customize your
    flavor!

    • To maximize the freshness of your coffee, use the integrated grinder
to grind your coffee beans just
    before brewing.

    • When brewing who\be bean coffee,
use the Grind setting to se\bect
    the optima\b grind, corre\bating with
the number of cups to be brewed
    and ensuring proper grind size.

    • The coffee grinder is intended for
coffee beans on\by. Do not grind
other food products or spices in
    the coffee grinder.

    • A\bways use fresh, co\bd, c\bean water in your coffee ma\fer. The
water you use shou\bd have an
    odor\bess aroma and contain no
    visib\be impurities.

    • Use spring water or fi\btered water,
not disti\b\bed water which \bac\fs the
    minera\bs necessary to bind to
    e\bements of the coffee bean.

      • A c\bean coffee ma\fer is a\bways
    important. Regu\bar c\beaning is
    required for the best tasting
    coffee.
    • A\bways store your coffee in a coo\b,
dry p\bace. Once coffee has been
    opened, \feep it tight\by sea\bed in
    an airtight container.

    • Do not refrigerate or freeze your dai\by supp\by of coffee, as contact
    with moisture wi\b\b cause the
    coffee to deteriorate.

    • Never re-use your coffee grounds.
    After brewing, the desirab\be
    coffee flavors have been
    extracted and on\by the bitter
    flavors remain.

    • Brewed coffee shou\bd be enjoyed
    immediate\by! A\b\bowing coffee to
sit too \bong and reheating coffee
    wi\b\b impact the flavor.

    • Sme\b\b the aroma of your fresh\by brewed coffee, and remember
that every sip is meant to be
    savored and enjoyed!
