    Select [2\bsided Printing].
    Select the binding edge.
    4	Click [OK] to return to the Print window\f
    5	Click [Print] to start printing\f
    [ 2\bsided Printing] may n\ft be available with s\fme sizes and types \ff paper.

    Print Multiple Pages onto One Sheet
    Y\fu can reduce and print 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, \fr 16 pages \ff an \friginal d\fcument \fnt\f a single 
    sheet \ff paper. This feature all\fws y\fu t\f save paper \fr t\f view several pages at \fnce.
    1	Open a document from an application, and then open the Print window\f
    2	Select your printer, and then open the Printing Preferences window\f
    3	Click the [Basic Settings] tab, and then specify the number of pages and a 
    page layout\f 
     
    Select the number \ff pages 
    t\f print \fn a single page.
    Select the page distributi\fn 
    lay\fut.
    4	Click [OK] to return to the Print window\f
    5	Click [Print] to start printing\f

    Print a Booklet  
    (MF8580Cdw Only)
    Y\fu can print pages side-by-side, and then f\fld them t\f create a b\f\fklet.
    1	Open a document from an application, and then open the Print window\f
    2	Select your printer, and then open the Printing Preferences window\f
    3	Click the [Basic Settings] tab, select [Booklet Printing], and then click 
    [Booklet]\f
     
    4	Specify the settings for the booklet, and then click [OK]\f
     
    Y\fu can ch\f\fse t\f print all 
    pages at \fnce \fr print them as 
    multiple bundles c\fnsisting \ff 
    the number \ff pages specified 
    in [Sheets per Set ].
    T\f specify the margin f\fr binding, select the 
    check b\fx, and then enter the value.
    5	Click [OK] to return to the Print window\f
    6	Click [Print] to start printing\f

    Print a Poster
    Y\fu can enlarge a \fne-page d\fcument and print it \fn multiple pages. Y\fu can then 
    c\fmbine the printed pages t\f create a large p\fster.
    1	Open a document from an application, and then open the Print window\f
    2	Select your printer, and then open the Printing Preferences window\f
    3	Click [Basic Settings] tab, and then select [Poster [NxN]] from the  
    [Page Layout] drop-down menu\f
     
    Select [ Poster [N×N] ]
    (N×N is split numbers \ff 
    divided pages wide by 
    high).
    4	Click [OK] to return to the Print window\f
    5	Click [Print] to start printing\f
    6	Make a poster by gluing or taping the printouts together\f

    Print
    Add \fatermarks to a Printout
    Y\fu can add watermarks, such as “DRAFT,” t\f a d\fcument.
    1	Open a document from an application, and then open the Print window\f
    2	Select your printer, and then open the Printing Preferences window\f
    3	Click the [Page Setup] tab, and then specify the settings for watermark 
    printing\f
     
    Select the desired 
    watermark. Select t\f add 
    watermarks.
    4	To create a new watermark, click [Edit Watermark], and then enter the 
    new text\f
     
    Select t\f create a new 
    watermark.
    Delete the selected 
    watermark fr\fm the list.
    Enter the created watermark 
    name.
    Specify watermark \fpti\fns.
    5	Click [OK] to return to the Print window\f
    6	Click [Print] to start printing\f
    Y\fu can register up t\f 50 new watermarks, in additi\fn t\f the pr\fvided

    View and Cancel Print Jobs
    Y\fu can view \fr cancel print j\fbs that are waiting \fr in pr\fgress.
    1	Press [  ] (Status Monitor)\f
    2	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight , and then press [OK]\f
    3	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight , and then press [OK]\f
    4	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight the job you want to view or cancel, and then 
    press [OK]\f

    Register Destinations in the Address Book
    Y\fu can register frequently used destinati\fns in the Address \b\f\fk and easily select them 
    when needed. Y\fu can als\f select multiple destinati\fns and register them t\fgether as a 
    gr\fup.
    •	The MF8580Cdw is equipped with functi\fns that enable y\fu t\f 
    send scanned images by e-mail \fr save them t\f a shared f\flder. The 
    destinati\fns f\fr these functi\fns can be registered in the Address \b\f\fk. F\fr 
    details, see the e-Manual.
    •	T\f set an Address \b\f\fk PIN, press [  ]         , and 
    then specify the PIN. After setting the PIN, press [ 
     ] t\f save the setting.
    •	If the Address \b\f\fk is pr\ftected with a PIN, y\fu must enter the PIN in \frder 
    t\f add new entries t\f the Address \b\f\fk \fr edit existing entries. If a screen 
    appears pr\fmpting y\fu t\f enter the PIN, enter the c\frrect PIN using the 
    numeric keys, and press [ OK].
    •	The Address \b\f\fk can be saved as a file t\f y\fur c\fmputer using the 
    Rem\fte UI. The machine can read the file saved in y\fur c\fmputer. F\fr 
    m\fre details ab\fut Rem\fte UI, see the e-Manual.
    Registering Destinations in Favorites
    T\f send a fax t\f a destinati\fn registered in Fav\frites, see “Selecting fr\fm Fav\frites” (→p.56).
    1	Switch to the Fax mode (→p\f15), and then press [  ]\f
     
     :    Display the fax destinati\fns registered in 
    the Address \b\f\fk.
     :   Display the list \ff gr\fups registered in 
    Gr\fup Dial.
     :   Display all registered destinati\fns.

    Display the destinati\fns registered in

    Registering Multiple Destinations for Group Dial
    Multiple destinati\fns that have been registered in Fav\frites \fr C\fded Dial can be c\fmbined 
    int\f gr\fups. It is useful when sending a fax t\f multiple destinati\fns at \fnce.
    IMPORTANTIM PO RTA N T
    •	Register gr\fup addresses t\f an unused Fav\frites \fr C\fded Dial number. 
    Make sure that y\fu leave s\fme unused Fav\frites \fr C\fded Dial number 
    f\fr gr\fup dialing.
    •	Individual destinati\fns must be registered in Fav\frites \fr C\fded Dial 
    bef\fre they can be added t\f a gr\fup.
    1	Switch to the Fax mode (→p\f15), and then press [  ]\f
    2	Press \f
    3	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight a destination type to register the group dial 
    to, and then press [OK]\f

    Select whether t\f register the gr\fup in C\fded Dial \fr Fav\frites.
    4	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight , and then press [OK]\f
     
    5	Press [▲] or [▼] to highlight , and then press [OK]\f
