    Entering a Fax Number with the Numeric Keys

    3	Enter the recipient’s fax number with the numeric keys, and \f
     
    4	Adjust the image quality of the documents as needed (→p\f52)\f
    5	Press [  ] (B&W)\f
    \fhen loading documents 
    into the feederScanning d\fcuments starts. The fax is sent after the 
    scanning is finished.

    interval between each attempt is 2 minutes.

    Selecting with Coded Dial
    Y\fu can easily send faxes t\f a destinati\fn registered in C\fded Dial. Y\fu can send faxes t\f 
    multiple destinati\fns at \fnce, if a gr\fup is registered in C\fded Dial.

    2	Switch to the Fax mode (→p\f15), and then press [  ] (Coded Dial)\f
    3	Enter the three-digit registration number (001 to 181) with the numeric 
    keys\f•	
    The destinati\fn number registered in C\fded Dial is displayed. If y\fu accidentally 
    select an inc\frrect destinati\fn, press [ 
     ] and then enter an\fther dial c\fde.
    •	When < Coded Dial TX Confirmation > is set t\f , a screen is displayed that 
    sh\fws the destinati\fn details. C\fnfirm the details, press [

    Redialing
    Y\fu can select a destinati\fn fr\fm am\fng the m\fst recent three destinati\fns. When y\fu 
    specify a previ\fusly used destinati\fn, the machine aut\fmatically sets the same fax settings 
    y\fu used the last time y\fu sent d\fcuments t\f that destinati\fn.

    Sending a Fax to Multiple Destinations   
    (Sequential Broadcast)
    Y\fu can send the same d\fcument t\f multiple recipients at \fnce.
    1	Place your documents (→p\f18)\f
    2	Switch to the Fax mode (→p\f15)\f
    3	Specify the destination\f
    •	
    Specify the destinati\fn using the Address \b\f\fk \fr the numeric keys.
    •	T\f specify a destinati\fn using the numeric keys, enter the fax number and press 
    < Apply >. T\f specify additi\fnal destinati\fns, press [
    ▲] \fr [▼] t\f select < Specify 
    Next Destination (New) >, and repeat the pr\fcedure.
    •	Y\fu can als\f specify the destinati\fn fr\fm an LDAP server. F\fr details, see the

    4	Repeat step 3 to enter additional destinations as needed\f

    Sending a Fax to an International Destination   
    (Adding Pauses)
    When sending faxes t\f internati\fnal destinati\fns, it is s\fmetimes difficult t\f c\fnnect t\f a 
    recipient, due t\f the l\fng distance that the signal must travel. Y\fu can insert a pause after 
    the internati\fnal access c\fde t\f reduce this pr\fblem.
    1	Place your documents (→p\f18)\f
    2	Switch to the Fax mode (→p\f15)\f
    3	\bse the numeric keys to enter the international access code\f
    •
