    Specifying menu items
    Menu items can be set as follows.

    After two seconds, the display reverts to the upper level menu.

    							Specifying numerical values
    Follow these steps to enter numbers. In this example, network settings items are entered.

    Press the  ◀ or  ▶ button to move to the next field for input.

    •Hold down ▲ or ▼ to increase or decrease the value continuously.3
    Repeat steps 1 and 2 to complete the settings, and then press the  OK button.

(See "Cutting the Leading Edge of Roll Paper Automatically.")→P.548CutDustReduct.If you choose On, a line will be printed at the cut position when papercutting is selected. This option reduces the amount of debris given offafter cutting. It also helps prevent adhesive from sticking to the cutterand keeps the cutter sharp if you use adhesive paper.  (See "ReducingDust from Cutting Rolls.")→P.550VacuumStrngthSpecify the level of suction that holds paper against the Platen.  (See"Adjusting the Vacuum Strength.")→P.744Scan Wait TimeSpecify the time to wait for the ink to dry between each scan (after theprinthead finishes moving in one direction), in consideration of howquickly the ink dries. Also specify the applicable area for the ink dryingtime. Select Entire area to apply the ink drying time after each scan un-til the document is fully printed. Note that printing will take longer if you specify the Scan WaitTime setting.
