    Thissectionprovidesinformationaboutinstallingadditionalinternalharddiskdrives.
    CAUTION:Ahot-pluggabledevicecanrequireinteractionwiththeoperatingserverbeforethe
    devicecanbesafelyinstalledintotheserver.Verifythattheoperatingsystemsupportsinstalling
    diskdriveswhiletheoperatingsystemisrunning.Iftheoperatingsystemdoesnotsupportthis
    feature,shutdowntheoperatingsystembeforeattemptingthisprocedure.Failuretoobserve

    overthesecomponents.Youmustremovetheprocessorairflowguidebeforeremovingor
    installingadualprocessormodule.
    •Thememoryairflowguideensuresthatthepropervolumeofairflowsoverthememory
    DIMMstocoolthem.ToaccessmemoryDIMMsandsockets,youmustremovethememory
    airflowguide.
