15.1This feature allows you to forward a call while it is ringing at your Keyset.

16.6 To forward all calls from your keyset:

Scroll to and select Forward.
2.Select one of the following:
•Forward All Calls
•Forward When Busy
 •Forward On No Answer
3.Enter an extension number to forward all your calls to another extension. 
OR Enter 9 followed by a telephone number to forward calls to an outside number. 
OR Enter 3 8 to forward calls to your voice message box.

16.11The Follow Me feature allows you to set a call forward to another extension after you
have left your extension. You set the forward from the extension that will receive your for-
warded calls.

18. PAGING
18.1The Encore System provide several Paging options:
•The system allows users to make announcements over the speakers of all Keysets.
•Users can make an Intercom Call via the speaker of a Keyset. 
•External paging equipment (a paging amplifier and speaker) can be connected to any
extension connection in the system. Users can then make announcements over the
external paging equipment. See page 4-13 for programming information....

C. PAGING OVER KEYSET SPEAKERS
18.6The Internal Paging feature allows any extension to make an announcement over the
speakers of all Keysets. Only Keysets that are page-protected will not be paged (see page 4-
19).
NOTE: While receiving a page, a Keyset cannot be used to make or receive calls or use any
system features.

19. SPEED-DIAL NUMBERS 
19.1Two Encore features provide speed dialing:
•Personal Speed Dialing. Personal speed-dial numbers can be stored for personal use.
Keyset extensions can store up to 12 numbers and single-line extensions can store up to
ten, as described below.
•System Speed Dialing. Up to 200 system speed-dial numbers can be stored from the
programmer’s keyset, for use by any extension.

20. SENDING A HOOKFLASH OVER A CO LINE
20.1A hookflash may be required when you are using certain telephone company services
on your lines, or if your Encore System is connected to another telephone system (PBX) via
one of the line interfaces.
20.2The Hookflash feature allows you to send a timed hookflash over the outside line. To

Do Not Disturb
22. DO NOT DISTURB
22.1If your extension is set to Do Not Disturb, anyone trying to call you will receive a busy
signal. If the person trying to contact you has a Keyset, “Do Not Disturb Enabled” will appear
on the display. Ring Back and Reminder calls are the only incoming calls that will be accepted
when this feature is set.
22.2Whenever Do Not Disturb is set, you will hear an interrupted dial tone when you lift the
handset.

24. EXTENSION LOCK
24.1This feature allows you to lock your extension to prevent unauthorized users from mak-
ing external calls.
24.2You use an Extension Lock password to lock, unlock, or to make calls from a locked
extension. The default Extension Lock password for all extensions is 123, but each extension
