Showing FUNCTIONS menu
You can play generally available music CD or MP3 files recorded onto a CD-R/RW.
1Insert a disc. (>14)
≥If a disc containing data in different file formats is 
inser ted, the file selection menu may be displayed. 
Press [3,4] to select “MP3 Music” and press 
[OK].

About MP3/JPEG/DivX files
Structure of MP3, still pictures (JPEG) and DivX folders
You can play MP3, still pictures (JPEG) and DivX with this unit by making folders on disc as 
shown (Dright).
≥Folder structure created on a DVD-RAM, BD-RE or an SD card is not displayed.
MP3 files and folders in CD-R/RW
Prefix with 3-digit numbers in the order you want to play them.
Still pictures (JPEG) in CD-R/RW
Files inside a folder are displayed in the order they were updated or taken.

Linked operations with the TV 
(VIERA LinkTM “HDAVI ControlTM”)
If you connect this unit to a TV that has “HDAVI Control 2” or “HDAVI 
Control 3” function with an HDMI cable, you can operate this unit 
using the following buttons on the TV remote control.
[3,4,2,1], [OK], [RETURN], [EXIT], [SUB MENU] and colored 
buttons ([EXIT]: Exit the screen)
Use the remote control for this unit to operate any other buttons 
(numbered buttons, etc.) that are not listed above.

Change the unit’s settings if necessary. The settings remain intact even if you switch the unit to standby.

TV Aspect
Set to match the type of television connected.When connected to a 4:3 aspect television:

BD-Video, video is output as “4:3 Letterbox”.

When connecting to an amplifier/receiver to enjoy multi-channel surround sound, use the following settings on this unit if they cannot be set on 
the amplifier/receiver.
The settings are not effective when outputting bitstream signals.
