[SLOT IN] Set this item in accordance with the signal input to the input terminal of the installed Interface Board when the optional Interface Board is installed in the slot. The content that can be set varies depending on the structure of the installed Interface Board. It cannot be set if no Interface Board is installed in the slots. When the optional Interface Board for HDMI 2 input (Model No.: ET- MDNHM10) is installed Setting [HDMI LINK] in [SLOT IN] (HDMI input) 1) Press as to select [SLOT IN]. 2) Press the button. f The [SLOT IN] screen is displayed. 3) Press as to select [HDMI LINK], and press the button. fThe [HDMI LINK] screen is displayed. 4) Press as to select the setting. [AUTO] Automatically selects the single link, the dual link, or the quad link. Selects the quad link when the signal in the same format (such as resolution and timing) is input in the four inputs of HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, and HDMI4. Selects the dual link when the signal in the same format is input in the HDMI1 input and the HDMI2 input, or the HDMI3 input and the HDMI4. Note fSwitch the setting to [EDID2:4K/30p] when proper image is not projected while [EDID SELECT] is set to [EDID1:4K/60p] and the 4K video signal is input. fSwitch the setting to [EDID3:2K] when proper image is not projected while [EDID SELECT] is set to [EDID1:4K/60p] or [EDID2:4K/30p] and the 2K video signal or lower is input. fFor details of the signal described in EDID of [EDID1:4K/60p], [EDID2:4K/30p], or [EDID3:2K], refer to “List of plug and play compatible signals” ( x page 213). [EDID2:PC] Select this item mainly when the external device (such as computer) which outputs the still image signal is connected to the terminal, the terminal, the terminal, or the terminal. Note f The data for Plug and play will change when the setting is changed. Refer to “List of compatible signals” ( x page 210) for a resolution that supports plug and play. Consult your dealer regarding the version update to the latest firmware if the version is earlier than 2.00. For details on how to confirm the firmware version, refer to “How to confirm the firmware version of the 3G-SDI Terminal Board with Audio” (x page 31). Setting [SDI LINK] in [SLOT IN] (SDI input) 1) Press as to select [SLOT IN]. 2) Press the button. fThe [SLOT IN] screen is displayed. 3) Press as to select [SDI LINK], and press the button. fThe [SDI LINK] screen is displayed. 4) Press as to select the setting. [AUTO] Automatically selects the single link, the dual link, or the quad link. The single link, dual link, or quad link is automatically distinguished by reading the payload ID attached to each input signal. Single link will be selected when a payload ID is not added to the input signal. Quad link will be automatically selected when the optional 3G-SDI Terminal Board with Audio (Model No.: TY - TBN03G) is installed in both of the slots.

Setting [3G-SDI MAPPING] in [SLOT IN] (SDI input) 1) Press as to select [SLOT IN]. 2) Press the button. f The [SLOT IN] screen is displayed. 3) Press as to select [SINGLE LINK SETTING], [DUAL LINK SETTING], or [QUAD LINK SETTING], and press the button. f The [SINGLE LINK SETTING] screen, the [DUAL LINK SETTING] screen, or the [QUAD LINK SETTING] screen is displayed. 4) Press as to select [3G-SDI MAPPING]. 5) Press qw to switch the item. fThe items will switch each time you press the button. Chapter 4 Settings — [DISPLAY OPTION] menu 120 - ENGLISH Frames of the projected images can be synchronized by linking multiple projectors using the terminal and the terminal. A combined screen with a balanced contrast can be displayed by sharing the brightness level of the video signal input to each projector when a multi-display is constructed by linking the projected images of multiple projectors. The synchronization source projector with [FRAME SYNC] set to [MASTER] will calculate the brightness level of the video signal to become optimum on the whole combined screen for every frame. All the projectors targeted to link will control the dynamic contrast function based on the calculation result. f When [ON] is selected, the usage of the terminal displayed in [FRAME SYNC1] is switched. The contents that are displayed are as follows. [FRAME SYNC] [FRAME SYNC1] [FRAME SYNC2] [MASTER] [INPUT] is displayed. The terminal will operate as an input terminal.
