    (1) Communication software setup
    The interface used complies with the RS-232C. Set the communication software as listed below.
    Baud rate : 9600 bps
    Number of bits : 7 bits
    Parity : Non parity
    Stop bit : 1 bit
    (2) Computer connection
    Connect an external computer using a straight cable with 9-pin, D-SUB connectors.
    The connectors should be wired as shown below.

     2.0 Command List
     The following tables show the availability of each command according to the status of the set. Each command is
    available in the conditions marked .  (C) indicates that the command is available only when the COMP. 1 or COMP.
    2 input is selected, and  (V) indicates that it is available only when the video input is selected. a, aa and b in the
    Command columns indicate character strings, and dd and dddd indicate figures from 0 to 9 or sign (-).
     The Function columns describe only the simple descriptions. Refer to the Instruction Manual for details.

    2.1.1  PON/POF Power ON/OFF switching.
    2.1.2  INV/IN1/IN2 Input selection.

    2.1.4  GST, GPP, GAD Current set status check.
    2.1.5  AJY/AJN Start/end of adjustment using commands. 
    						
    							2.1.1  PON/POF Commands

    Function: Switches the power mode between standby  power ON.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Syntax: PON[CR], POF[CR]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Equivalent function::
      Remote   : [STANDBY/ON]  * Cyclic selection.
      Main unit: [STANDBY/ON]  * Cyclic selection.

     These commands switch respectively the standby mode to power ON mode and the power ON mode to standby mode.
     The current mode can be checked with the GST command.
        PON: Switching from the standby mode to the power ON mode.
        POF: Switching from the power ON mode to the standby mode. 
    						
    							2.1.2  INV/IN1/IN2 Commands

    Function: Selects the input.

    Syntax: INV[CR], IN1[CR], IN2[CR]

    Equivalent function::
      Remote:    [COMP. 1], [COMP. 2], [VIDEO]
      Main unit: [INPUT]  * Cyclic selection.

     These commands switches the input to the set.
     The current input selection can be checked with the GST command.
        INV: Selection of the video input.
        IN1: Selection of the COMP. 1 input.
        IN2: Selection of the COMP. 2 input.

    Note: These commands can be issued only in the menu OFF mode.
          Digital zooming is deactivated when any of these commands is issued. 
    						
    							2.1.3  AK, EO and MS Commands

    Function: Checks the transmission and reception through RS-232C.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Syntax: AKY[CR], AKN[CR], EN[CR], EOF[CR], MSY[CR], MSN[CR]

    Initial status: AKY, EON, MSY

    Equivalent function:: None

     These commands checks operations through the RS-232C line.
        AKY/AKN:
         Acknowledgment ON/OFF.
         These commands make it possible to output ACK (0x06) indicating normal completion or NAK (0x15) indicating
    abnormal
        completion as the check signal to be returned after command execution.
        EON/EOF:
         Echo-back ON/OFF.
         These commands make it possible to output the echo-back of input commands.
         They can be used to check the circuit connection, etc.
        MSY/MSN:
         Status display ON/OFF.
         These commands make it possible to output the current status when the GST, GPP or GAD command is executed.
         A message is output when the AJY status is activated, the AJY status is deactivated or the set is switched from
        the standby mode to power ON mode.
          AKY: Setting so that the acknowledgment is returned.
          AKN: Setting so that the acknowledgment is not returned.
          EON: Setting so that the echo-back is returned.
          EOF: Setting so that the echo-back is not returned.
          MSY: Setting so that the status data, etc. are returned.
          MSN: Setting so that the status data, etc. are not returned. 
    						
    							2.1.4  GST, GPP and GAD Commands

    Function: Checks the current status of the set.

    Syntax: GST[CR], GPP[CR], GAD[CR]
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Equivalent function:: None.

      GST command: Input GST[CR] to check the current status of the power, input, muting, volume, etc.
        Example 1: Status display in standby mode
