10. MAJOR UNIT REPLACEMENT EO18-33012A 10.15 FAN MOTOR 10-38 10.15 FAN MOTOR 1) Remove the side panel (L). (Refer to Section 3.2.) 2) Remove the two B-4x35 screws from the side panel (L). 3) Remove the fan motor, fan spacer, and fan base/fan cover from the side panel (L). 4) Replace the fan motor with a new one, and then reassemble in the reverse order of removal. NOTES: 1. Tighten the B-4x35 screws with 94.1 – 188.2 N•cm torque. 2. Attach the fan motor so that it takes the air into the printer. Refer to the arrows embossed on the fan motor. 3. Attach the fan motor, fan base/fan cover in the correct orientation. (Refer to the picture of Step 3.)
