INSTALLATION MONTAGE A CAUTION/ ACHTUNG The sewing machine should only be installed by a qualified technician. Ask your Brother dealer or a qualified electri cian for any electrical work that may need to be done. The sewing machine weighs more than 37 kg. The installation should be carried out by two or more people. Die Nahmaschine darf nur von einem qualifi zierten Fachmann montiert werden. Falls Elektrikerarbeiten gemacht werden mussen, wenden Sie sich an lhren Brother-Handler oder an einen qualifizierten Elektriker. Weil die Nahmaschine mehr als 37 kg wiegt, sind zur Montage mindestens zwei Personen notwendig. ITJ Installing the machine head Do not connect the power cord until installation is complete, otherwise the machine will operate if the treadle is pressed by mistake, which could result in injury. Be sure to connect the ground. If the ground connection is not secure, serious electric shocks will result. Install the belt cover to the machine head. Linstallation necessite done le concours de deux personnes ou plus. La maquina debe ser instalada solo por personal especializado. Consultar a su distribuidor Brother o un electri cista calificado por cualquier trabajo de electri cidad que se debiera realizar. La maquina de coser pesa mas de 37 kg. La instalaci6n debe ser realizada por dos o mas personas. Ne pas brancher le cordon dalimentation avant davoir termine !installation, sinon Ia machine risquera de se mettre en marche si on enfonce accidentellement Ia pedale, et done de causer des blessures. Veiller a bien brancher Ia machine a Ia terre. Si le branchement de terre n est pas bien fait, il y aura risque delectrocution grave. Installer le couvercle de courroie sur Ia tete de machine. Tourner Ia vis de reglage 0 de maniere que le pied presseur 8 soit a Ia position desiree a 13 mm au maximum de Ia plaque a aiguille lorsque Ia plaque 0 du releveur au genou est completement enfoncee. 8. Une fois Je reglage termine, bien serrer lecrou G. 1. Bajar el prensatelas 8 usando ellevantador de barra de prensatelas 0. 2. Aflojar el tornillo e. 3.
