							* Avant de proceder au remplacement  des couteaux,  ne pas oublier de debrancher le cordon dalimentation. Rem placement du couteau fixe 
1. Incliner Ia tete de Ia machine a coudre  vers larriere. 2. En lever Ia vis 0 et Ia butee de Ia navette e. 
3. Devisser Ia vis a tete  plate E), puis  retirer le couteau  fixe e. 
o Si laffutage du couteau  fixe est necessaire,  affuter a I aide  dune  pierre  a repasser,  com me indique  par Ia Fig. A. 
Rem placement du couteau mobile 
1. Relever le pied presseur a laide du levier du  pied  presseur. 2. Retirer les vis a tete  plate 0, puis enlever Ia plaque  a aiguille 0. 
3. Tourner Ia poulie de Ia machine  jusqua ce que Ia barre a aiguille atteigne sa position Ia plus haute. 
4. Appuyer  avec Ia main sur Ia barre  de connexion  du coupe-fil G, dans Ia direction  de Ia fleche, jusqua Ia position ou les vis a tete  plate e deviennent  accessibles,  puis arreter  dappuyer. 
5. Devisser  et retirer les vis a tete  plate Ci), puis  retirer le couteau mobile CD. 
* Ne pas oublier denlever laiguille avant  de retirer Ia plaque  a aiguille 0 et le couteau mobile CD. 
* Pour Ia remise en place des  couteaux,  effectuer dans lordre inverse les operations  decrites ci-dessus. 
* Hay que desconectar  sin falta Ia corriente de Ia maquina antes de realizar el cambio  de las cuchillas. Cambia de Ia cuchilla estacionaria 
1. lnclinar hacia atras Ia cabeza  de Ia maquina  de coser. 2. Guitar el tornillo 0 y luego quitar el tope  de Ia lanzadera e. 
3. Guitar el tornillo de cabeza plana 8 y luego, desmontar Ia cuchilla estacionaria e. 
o Si Ia cuchilla estacionaria ha perdido  su filo, utilizar una piedra  de aceite  para afilarla,  tal como aparece en Ia Fig. A. 
Cambia de Ia cuchilla movil 
1. Levantar el pie del prensatelas  utilizando Ia palanca del pie del prensatelas. 
2. Guitar los tornillos de cabeza plana 0 y luego, desmontar Ia placa de  aguja 0. 
3. Girar Ia polea de Ia maquina  de coser  hasta que Ia barra de aguja llegue a su  posicion mas  alta. 
4. Presionar Ia barra  de conexi6n G del cortador  de hilo con Ia mano en el sentido  indicado por Ia flecha, hasta llegar a 
una  posicion en Ia que sea posible ver los tornillos de cabeza plana 0 y luego, detenerlo. 5. Guitar los  tornillos de cabeza  plana Ci) y luego, desmontar Ia cuchilla  m6vil CD. * Para quitar Ia placa de agujas 0 y Ia cuchilla  m6vil CD, no olvidar nunca de quitar  primero Ia aguja. 
* El rearmado  puede ser realizado  siguiendo el procedimiento  inverso.

mente el flujo del aceite  lubricante. lnclinar Ia parte de arriba  de Ia maquina  y hacer  girar el tornillo de control  del aceite 
del cangrejo e para regular debidamente el flujo de aceite  hacia el mismo.

eyes  or onto  your  skin, otherwise inflammation can result Furthermore,  do not  drink  the oil under  any circumstances, as it can cause  vomiting  and diarrhoea. 
Keep  the oil out of the reach of children. 
Schalten  Sie

Mettre

							1. Relever le pied  presseur. 2. Retirer les deux  vis 0, puis deposer Ia plaque a aiguille f). 
1. Raise the presser  foot. 
2. Remove  the two screws 0, and then  remove  the needle 
plate f). 
3. Use a  soft  wire  brush  to clean  any dust  from  the feed 
dog E). 
4. Install the  needle  plate f) with the two screws 0.

5. Turn  the machine pulley  slowly and check  that the 
needle  is lowered  through the center of the hole in the 
needle  plate 
e. 
* If the needle  does not go through  the center: • Check that  the needle is not  bent. • Loosen  the two screws 0 and then  re-seat  the 
needle  plate e. 6. Turn the machine pulley to raise  the needle  above the 
needle  plate f), and then  check  that the tip of the  needle 
is  not  blunt. 
5. Drehen Sie die  Riemenscheibe Iangsam und kontrollieren Sie,  ob sich  die Nadel  in der  Mitte  des Stichplattenlochs f)

5. Tourner  lentement Ia poulie de machine  et verifier  que laiguille sabaisse  bien a travers le centre du trou  de Ia plaque a

* Si laiguille ne passe  pas a travers le centre: • Verifier si laiguille nest pas tordue. • Desserrer  les deux  vis 0 puis repositionner Ia plaque a aiguille f). 6. Tourner Ia poulie  de machine  pour elever laiguille au-dessus  de Ia plaque a aiguille f), puis verifier si lextremite de 
laiguille nest pas emousse. 
5. Girar Ia polea de Ia maquina  lentamente  y verificar  que Ia aguja baja por el centro del orificio en Ia placa de aguja f). 
* Si Ia aguja no pasa por el centro: • Verificar  que Ia aguja no este torcida. • Aflojar los des tornillos 0 y luego  centrar Ia placa de aguja f). 6. Girar Ia polea de Ia maquina  para levantar Ia aguja  encima  de Ia placa de aguja f), y luego  verificar  que Ia punta de Ia 
aguja no esta datiada.

							7. Incliner Ia tete de machine  vers larriere. 8. Deposer Ia boite a canette e. 
7. Tilt back the machine  head. 
8. Remove the bobbin case e. 9. Wipe off any  dust from the rotary  hook 0 with a soft 
cloth,  and check that there  is no  damage  to the  rotary 
hook0. 10 .Remove  the bobbin  from the bobbin  case e and clean 
the  bobbin  case 
e with a cloth. 11. Insert the  bobbin  into the bobbin case e, and  then 
place  the bobbin  case 
e back into the machine. 
7. Schwenken Sie das  Maschinenoberteil  nach hinten. 
8. Entfernen Sie die Spulenkapsel e. 9. Entfernen Sie den Staub mit einem  weichen  Tuch vom 
Greifer 0 und kontrollieren Sie, ob  der  Greifer 0 nicht 
beschadigt  ist. 
10. Nehmen Sie die Spule aus der Spulenkapsel e und  rei­
nigen Sie die Spulenkapsel e mit einem  weichen  Tuch. 11. Setzen Sie die Spule Wieder in die Spulenkapsel e ein 
und  setzen Sie die Spulenkapsel e in die  Maschine  ein. 
9. Essuyer les impuretes  pouvant se trouver sur le crochet  rotatif 0 a I aide dun  chiffon  doux, puis verifier si le crochet 
rotatif 
0 nest  pas endommage. 10. Retirer Ia canette  de Ia boite a canette e et nettoyer Ia boite a canette e avec  un chiffon. 11. lnserer Ia canette  dans Ia boite a canette e. puis remettre Ia boite a canette e en place  dans Ia machine. 
7. lnclinar Ia cabeza  de Ia maquina  hacia atras. 8. Desmontar Ia caja de Ia bobina e. 9. Limpiar el polvo  de Ia lanzadera 0 con un paiio  suave,  y verificar  que Ia lanzadera 0 no este daiiada. 
10. Retirar Ia bobina de Ia caja de Ia bobina e y limpiar Ia caja de Ia bobina 0 con un paiio. 11. lnsertar Ia bobina en Ia caja  de Ia bobina e. y luego  colocar  otra vez Ia caja de Ia bobina 0 en Ia maquina. 
12. Clean  the oil sump 0 with a cloth. 13. If the oil  level drops  below  the LOW mark, add more 
lubricating oil. 
* Use only the  lubricating oil (Nisseki Sewing Lube 10) specified  by Brother. 
* If the  lubricating oil is contaminated,  remove the oil 
cap  screw G and  drain  the oil. Clean off any dirt on the collection magnet 0 and  in 
the  oil pan 
0. 
12. Reinigen Sie den Olwannenteil0 mit einem  Tuch. 
13. Falls der Olstand unter die Markierung LOW  abgefallen ist, muB 01 nachgefullt werden. * Verwenden Sie nur das  von  Brother  vorgeschriebene Nahmaschinenol (Nisseki Sewing Lube 1 0). * Falls das 01 verschmutzt  ist, entfernen Sie die Olkappenschraube G und  lassen Sie das 01 ab. Wischen Sie den Magnet 0 und die Olwanne 0 sauber. 
12. Nettoyer  le carter dhuile 0 avec  un chiffon. 13. Si le niveau  dhuile  baisse au-dessous  du repere LOW, ajouter  de lhuile de lubrification. * Utiliser seulement lhuile de lubrification  (Nisseki Sewing Lube 10) recommandee  par Brother. 
* Si lhuile  de lubrification  est contaminee,  retirer Ia vis 0 du bouchon  dhuile et evacuez lhuile. Eliminer  les impuretes  pouvant se trouver sur laimant  de recuperation 0 et dans le reservoir  dhuile 0. 
12. Limpiar el colector de aceite 0 con  un paiio. 13. Si el nivel  de aceite  baja por debajo  de Ia marca LOW, agregar mas aceite lubricants. * Usar solo aceite lubricants (Nisseki Sewing Lube 10) especificado  por Brother. * Si el aceite lubricants  esta sucio, quitar el tornillo tapa de aceite G y drenar el aceite. 
Limpiar Ia suciedad  acumulada en el iman de recoleccion 0 yen el deposito  de aceite 0.

							14. Return the machine  head to its  original  position. 15. Check that the upper  thread  is threaded  correctly. 16. Carry out a test  sewing.
