Clearing jams
By carefully selecting papers and specialty media and loading it properly, you should be able to avoid most jams. For
more information, see “Avoiding jams” on page 63. If jams do occur, follow the steps outlined in this chapter.
Warning—Potential Damage: Never use any tool to remove a jam. Doing so could permanently damage the fuser.
To resolve the jam messages, you must clear the entire paper path, and press

Accessing jam areas
Open doors and remove trays to access jam areas. The following illustration shows possible jam areas:
