    Before a software associate or software specialist can p erform initial switch 
    ad ministration, he or she must ob tain c ertain information from the c ustomer. This 
    ap p end ix has worksheets that a software assoc iate or software spec ialist and  the 
    c ustomer should  c omp lete before installation. The worksheets inc lud e 
    information nec essary for required  switc h ad ministration and  any op tional switc h 
    features the c ustomer wants to use. These tasks are d esc rib ed  in d etail in 
    Installation and  Switc h Ad ministration for the DEFINITY AUDIX System Release 
    4.0,

    COR
    To p revent toll fraud , Luc ent Tec hnolog ies rec ommend s that you selec t a Class 
    of Restric tion (COR) for voic e ports suc h that sub sc rib ers c an only c all other 
    numb ers with the 
    same COR. If, after c areful c onsideration, you find  that 
    sub sc rib ers d o need  to be ab le to c all numb ers with d ifferent CORs, add  
    permissions for these (one at a time) as req uired . (The Digital Networking , 
    Messag e Delivery, and  Outc alling  features req uire that sub sc rib ers b e ab le to 
    ac c ess outsid e lines.) See
