4. Slide the dipstick down completely and pull up again. 
5. Read off the oil level. The oil level should be at  the “Max” mark as illustrated in fig. 9.
If the oil level is below the “Max” mark in fig. 9, 
fill with oil as follows:
1. Unscrew the oil filler cap (9:C).
2. Fill with the necessary amount of oil. Applica- ble oil types, see “5.4”.
3. Check the level as above.
4. When the level is correct, reinstall the oil filler  cap and tighten.
The oil level must never exceed the “Max” mark...

4.8 STOPDisengage the power take-off. Apply the parking 
brake. If the machine is left unattended, re-
move the ignition key.
The engine may be very warm immedi-
ately after it is shut off. Do not touch the 
cylinder or cooling fins. This can cause 
burn injuries.
4.9 CLEANING
To reduce the risk of fire, keep the en-
gine, silencer, battery and fuel tank free 
from grass, leaves and oil.
To reduce the risk of fire, regularly 
check the machine for oil and/or fuel 
leakage.

7. To clean the oil filter, see 5.4.1 below before continuing.
8.  Remove the filler cap (9:C) and fill with oil.  The engine has a capacity of around 1.7 litres.
9. After filling the oil, start the engine and run at  idle speed for 30 seconds. 
10.Check to see if there is any oil leakage.
11.Stop the engine. Wait for 30 seconds and then  check the oil level. See 4.3. Top up the oil if 
necessary.

The battery is a valve-regulated battery with 12 V 
nominal voltage. The battery fluid does not need to 
and cannot be checked or topped up. The only 
maintenance that is required is charging, for exam-
ple after extended storage.The battery must be fully charged be-
fore being used for the first time. The 
battery must always be stored fully 
charged. If the battery is stored while 
discharged, serious damage will occur.

5.13 LUBRICATIONAll lubrication points in accordance with the table 
below must be lubricated every 50 hours of opera-
tion as well as after every wash.

2.4.3 Inhibiteur, frein de stationnement (3:A)
Linhibiteur bloque la pédale « embraya-
ge-frein » en position enfoncée. Cette 
fonction permet de circuler sur des ter-
rains en pente, de transporter la machine, 
etc. lorsque le moteur est à l’arrêt.
Le frein de stationnement doit toujours 
être relâché pendant lutilisation de 
lengin.
Verrouillage :
1. Enfoncer à fond la pédale (3:B). 
2. Déplacer l’inhibiteur (3:A) vers la droite.

Levier permettant de débrayer la transmission va-
riable.
Le modèle 2WD est équipé d’un levier connecté à 
l’essieu arrière. Voir (5:R).Le levier d’embrayage ne doit jamais se 
trouver entre les positions extérieure et 
intérieure pour éviter de surchauffer le 
moteur et d’endommager la transmis-

3 UTILISATION
L’usage de la machine est réservé aux travaux sui-
vants, avec les accessoires STIGA d’origine ren-
seignés.
La charge verticale maximum exercée sur la boule 
de remorquage doit être inférieure à 100 N.
La charge d’inertie maximum exercée sur la boule 
de remorquage par les accessoires tractés doit être 
inférieure à 500 N.

contactez votre compagnie d’assurance.

4.2 PURGELe circuit d’alimentation du moteur doit être purgé 
dans les cas suivants :
 Réservoir de carburant à sec et présence d’air dans le circuit
 Après remplacement du filtre
Procéder comme suit :
1. Faire le plein.
2. Actionner la pompe à main (8:Y) jusqu’à expul- sion de tout l’air présent dans le circuit.
4.3 CONTRÔLE DU NIVEAU DE  L’HUILE MOTEUR
À la livraison, le carter est rempli d’huile SAE
