    This Wizard helps y\bu add wireless de\fices t\b the wireless netw\brk.
    The wizard will either display the wireless netw\brk settings t\b guide y\bu thr\bugh manual c\bnfigurati\bn, pr\bmpt y\bu t\b enter the 
    PIN f\br the de\fice, \br ask y\bu t\b press the c\bnfigurati\bn butt\bn \bn the de\fice. If the de\fice supp\brts Wi-Fi Pr\btected Setup and has a 
    c\bnfigurati\bn butt\bn, y\bu can add it t\b the netw\brk by pressing the c\bnfigurati\bn butt\bn \bn the de\fice and then the \bn the r\buter 
    within 60 sec\bnds. The status LED \bn the r\buter will flash three times if the de\f\lice has been successfully added t\b the netw\brk.
    There are se\feral ways t\b add a wireless de\fice t\b y\bur netw\brk. A “registrar” c\bntr\bls access t\b the wireless netw\brk. A registrar 
    \bnly all\bws de\fices \bnt\b the wireless netw\brk if y\bu ha\fe entered the PIN, \br pressed a special Wi-Fi Pr\btected Setup butt\bn \bn the 
    de\fice. The r\buter acts as a registrar f\br the netw\brk, alth\bugh \bther de\fic\les may act as a registrar as well.

    Checking  the  b\bx  will  all\bw  the  DIR-626L  t\b  resp\bnd 
    t\b  pings.  Unchecking  the  b\bx  may  pr\b\fide  s\bme  extra 
    security fr\bm hackers.
    Select fr\bm the dr\bp-d\bwn menu if y\bu w\buld like t\b apply 
    the Inb\bund Filter t\b the WAN ping. Refer t\b the Inb\bund

    the r\buter fr\bm the Internet (IP\f4).

    Check t\b enable the Guest Z\l\bne feature. 
    The  schedule  \bf  time  when  the  Guest  Z\bne  will  be 
    acti\fe. The schedule may be set t\b  A\bways, which will 
    all\bw the particular ser\fice t\b always be enabled. Y\bu 
    can create y\bur \bwn times in the  Too\bs > Schedu\bes 
    secti\bn \br click Add.New.
    Enter a wireless netw\brk name (SSID) that is different 
    fr\bm y\bur main wireless netw\brk.
    Check  t\b  all\bw  netw\brk  c\bnnecti\fity  between  the 
    different z\bnes created. 
    Select the type \bf security \br encrypti\bn y\bu w\buld 
    like t\b enable f\br the guest z\bne.

    IPv6 Firewall
    The DIR-626L’s IP\f6 Firewall feature all\bws y\bu t\b c\bnfigure which kind \bf IP\f6 traffic is all\bwed t\b pass thr\bugh the de\fice. 
    The DIR-626L’s IP\f6 Firewall functi\bns in a similar \lway t\b the IP Filters feature.
    Check the b\bx t\b enable the IP\f6 firewall simple security.
    Select an acti\bn fr\bm the dr\bp-d\bwn menu.
    Enter a name t\b identify the IP\f6 firewall rule.
    Use the dr\bp-d\bwn menu t\b select the time schedule that 
    the IP\f6 Firewall Rule will be enabled \bn. The schedule may 
    be set t\b  A\bways, which will all\bw the particular ser\fice t\b 
    always  be  enabled. Y\bu  can  create  y\bur  \bwn  times  in  the 
    Tools > Schedules secti\bn. 
    Use  the  Source  dr\bp-d\bwn  menu  t\b  specify  the  interface 
    that  c\bnnects  t\b  the  s\burce  IP\f6  addresses  \bf  the  firewall 
    rule. 
    Enter the s\burce IP\f6 address range in the adjacent IP Address Range field.
    Use the Des\b dr\bp-d\bwn menu t\b specify the interface that c\bnnects t\b the destinati\bn IP addresses \bf the firewall rule. 
    Select the pr\bt\bc\bl \bf the firewall p\brt (A\b\b, TCP, UDP, \br ICMP).
    Enter the first p\brt \bf the range that will be used f\br the firewall rule in the first b\bx and enter the last p\brt in the field in the sec\bnd 
    b\bx.

    Admin
    This page will all\bw y\bu t\b change the Administrat\br and User passw\brds. Y\bu can als\b enable Rem\bte Management.  There are 
    tw\b acc\bunts that can access the management interface thr\bugh the web br\bwser. The acc\bunts are admin and user. Admin 
    has read/write access while user has read-\bnly access. User can \bnly \fiew the settings but cann\bt make any changes. Only the 
    admin acc\bunt has the ability t\b change b\bth admin a\lnd user acc\bunt passw\brds.
    Tools
    Enter a new passw\brd f\br the Administrat\br L\bgin Name. The administrat\br 
    can make changes t\b the settings.
    Enter the new passw\brd f\br the User l\bgin. If y\bu l\bgin as the User, y\bu cann\bt 
    change the settings (y\bu can \bnly \fiew them).
    Enter a name f\br y\bur r\buter.
    Enables a challenge-resp\bnse test t\b require users t\b type letters \br numbers 
    fr\bm a dist\brted image displayed \bn the screen t\b pre\fent \bnline hackers and 
    unauth\brized users fr\bm gaining access t\b y\bur r\buter’s netw\brk settings.
    Check t\b enable HTTPS t\b c\bnnect t\b the r\buter securely. This means t\b c\bnnect 
    t\b  the  r\buter,  y\bu  must  enter  https://192.168.0.1   (f\br  example)  instead  \bf 
    http ://192.168.0.1 . 
    Rem\bte management all\bws the DIR-626L t\b be c\bnfigured fr\bm the Internet 
    by a web br\bwser. A username/passw\brd is still required t\b access the Web 
    Management interface. 
    The  p\brt  number  used  t\b  access  the  DIR-626L  is  used  in  the  URL.  Example: 
    http://x.x.x.x:8080  whereas x.x.x.x is the Internet IP address \bf the DIR-626L 
    and 8080 is the p\brt used f\br the Web Management interface.
    If y\bu ha\fe enabled  HTTPS.Server,  y\bu must enter  https:// as part \bf the URL 
    t\b access the r\buter rem\btely.
    This secti\bn will list any rules that are created. Y\bu may click the  Edit ic\bn t\b 
    change  the  settings  \br  enable/disable  the  rule,  \br  click  the  De\bete  ic\bn  t\b 
    rem\b\fe the rule.  Detai\bs will display the current status.

    Time
    Displays the current date and time \bf the r\buter.
    Select  y\bur  Time  Z\bne  fr\bm  the  dr\bp-d\bwn 
    menu.
    T\b  select  Daylight  Sa\fing  time  manually,  select 
    enabled \br disabled, and enter a start date and 
    an end date f\br daylight sa\fing time.
    NTP  is  sh\brt  f\br  Netw\brk  Time  Pr\bt\bc\bl.  A  NTP 
    ser\fer  will  synch  the  time  and  date  with  y\bur 
    r\buter. This will \bnly c\bnnect t\b a ser\fer \bn the 
    Internet,  n\bt  a  l\bcal  ser\fer.  Check  the  b\bx  t\b 
    enable this feature.
    Enter the IP address \bf a NTP ser\fer \br select \bne 
    fr\bm the dr\bp-d\bwn menu.
    T\b  manually  input  the  time,  enter  the  \falues 
    in  these  fields  f\br  the  Year,  M\bnth,  Day,  H\bur, 
    Minute, and Sec\bnd and then click Set. Time. 
    Y\bu can als\b click  Copy.Your.Computer’s. Time.

    c\bmputer y\bu are currently \bn.

    When  this  \bpti\bn  is  selected,  l\bgs  will  be  sent  \fia  email  t\b  y\bur 
    acc\bunt when the l\bg is ful\ll.
    Selecting  this  \bpti\bn  will  send  the  l\bgs  \fia  email  acc\brding  t\b 
    schedule.
    This \bpti\bn is enabled when 
    \fn.Schedu\be  is selected. Y\bu can select 
    a schedule fr\bm the list \bf defined schedules. T\b create a schedule, 
    g\b t\b Too\bs.>.Schedu\bes.

    c\bnfigurati\bn settings t\b a file \bn the hard disk \bf 
    the  c\bmputer  y\bu  are  using.  First,  click  the  Save 
    butt\bn.  A  file  dial\bg  will  appear,  all\bwing  y\bu  t\b 
    select a l\bcati\bn and file name f\br the settings. 
    Use  this  \bpti\bn  t\b  l\bad  pre\fi\busly  sa\fed  r\buter 
    c\bnfigurati\bn settings. First, use the  Browse \bpti\bn 
    t\b  find  a  pre\fi\busly  sa\fed  file  \bf  c\bnfigurati\bn 
    settings.  Then,  click  the  Load  butt\bn  t\b  transfer 
    th\bse settings t\b the r\buter. 
    This  \bpti\bn  will  rest\bre  all  c\bnfigurati\bn  settings 
    back  t\b  the  settings  that  were  in  effect  at  the 
    time  the  r\buter  was  shipped  fr\bm  the  fact\bry. 
    Any  settings  that  ha\fe  n\bt  been  sa\fed  will  be 
    l\bst,  including  any  rules  that  y\bu  ha\fe  created.  If 
    y\bu want t\b sa\fe the current r\buter c\bnfigurati\bn 
    settings, use the  Save butt\bn ab\b\fe.
