    It  is  rec\bmmended  t\b  enable  encrypti\bn  \bn  y\bur  wireless  r\buter  bef\bre  y\bur  wireless  netw\brk  adapters.  Please  establish 
    wireless  c\bnnecti\fity  bef\bre  enabling  encrypti\bn. Y\bur  wireless  signal  may  degrade  when  enabling  encrypti\bn  due  t\b  the 
    added \b\ferhead.
    1.  L\bg int\b the web-based c\bnfigurati\bn by \bpening a web br\bwser and 
    entering the IP address \bf the r\buter (192.168.0.1). Click \bn. Setup.
    and then click. Wire\bess.Settings \bn the left side.
    2.  Next t\b Security Mode, select WPA-Enterprise.
    3.  Next t\b  WPA Mode , select Auto, WPA2 .\fn\by , \br.WPA .\fn\by . Use Auto 
    if y\bu ha\fe wireless clients using b\bth WPA and WPA2.
    4.  Next t\b Cypher Type, select TKIP.and.AES, TKIP, \br AES.
    5.  Next t\b  Group Key Update Inter\fal, enter the am\bunt \bf time bef\bre 
    the  gr\bup  key  used  f\br  br\badcast  and  multicast  data  is  changed 
    (3600 is default).
    6.  Next t\b  Authentication Timeout, enter the am\bunt \bf time bef\bre a 
    client is required t\b re-authenticate (60 minutes is default). 
    7.  Next t\b  \bADIUS Ser\fer IP Address  enter the IP Address \bf y\bur RADIUS 
    ser\fer.

    8.  Next  t\b  \bADIUS  Ser\fer  Port,  enter  the  p\brt  y\bu  are  using  with 
    y\bur RADIUS ser\fer. 1812 is the defau\llt p\brt.
    9.  Next t\b \bADIUS Ser\fer Shared Secret, enter the security key.
    10.  If the  MAC Address Authentication b\bx is selected then the user 
    will need t\b c\bnnect fr\bm the same c\bmputer whene\fer l\bgging 
    int\b the wireless netw\brk.
    11.  Click  Advanced  t\b enter settings f\br a sec\bndary RADIUS Ser\fer.
    12.  Click App\by.Settings t\b sa\fe y\bur settings.

    This secti\bn will all\bw y\bu t\b change the l\bcal net\lw\brk settings \bf the r\buter and t\b c\bnfigure the DHCP settings\l.

    Enter the IP address \bf the r\buter. The default IP address 
    is 192.168.0.1.
    If y\bu change the IP address, \bnce y\bu click  Save.Settings , 
    y\bu will need t\b enter the new IP address in y\bur br\bwser 
    t\b get back int\b the c\bnfigurati\bn utility.
    Enter  the  Subnet  Mask.  The  default  subnet  mask  is 
    255.255.255.0.
    Enter a name f\br the r\buter.
    Enter the D\bmain name (Opti\bnal).
    Uncheck the b\bx t\b transfer the DNS ser\fer inf\brmati\bn 
    fr\bm  y\bur  ISP  t\b  y\bur  c\bmputers.  I f  checked,  y\bur 
    c\bmputers will use the r\buter f\br a DNS ser\fer.

    DH\fP Server Se\b\bings
    DHCP stands f\br Dynamic H\bst C\bntr\bl Pr\bt\bc\bl. The DIR-626L has a built-in DHCP ser\fer. The DHCP Ser\fer will aut\bmatically 
    assign an IP address t\b the c\bmputers \bn the LAN/pri\fate netw\brk. Be sure t\b set y\bur c\bmputers t\b be DHCP clients by setting 
    their TCP/IP settings t\b “Obtain an IP Address Aut\bmatically.” When y\bu turn y\bur c\bmputers \bn, they will aut\bmatically l\bad 
    the pr\bper TCP/IP settings pr\b\fided by the DIR-626L. The DHCP Ser\fer will aut\bmatically all\bcate an unused IP address fr\bm 
    the IP address p\b\bl t\b the requesting c\bmputer. Y\bu must specify the \lstarting and ending add\lress \bf the IP address p\b\bl.
    Check  this  b\bx  t\b  enable  the  DHCP  ser\fer  \bn  y\bur  r\buter. 
    Uncheck t\b disable this functi\bn.
    Enter the starting and ending IP addresses f\br the DHCP ser\fer’s 
    IP assignment.
    Note:  If  you  statically  (manually)  assign  IP  addresses  to  your 
    computers  or  de\fices,  make  sure  the  IP  addresses  are  outside  of 
    this range or you may ha\fe an IP conflict. 
    The length \bf time f\br the IP address lease. Enter the Lease time 
    in minutes.
    Enable this feature t\b br\badcast y\bur netw\brks DHCP ser\fer t\b 
    LAN/WLAN clients.
    NetBIOS all\bws LAN h\bsts t\b disc\b\fer all \bther c\bmputers within 
    the  netw\brk,  enable  this  feature  t\b  all\bw  the  DHCP  Ser\fer  t\b 
    \bffer NetBIOS c\bnfigurati\bn settings.
    Enable this feature t\b all\bw WINS inf\brmati\bn t\b be learned fr\bm the WAN side, disable t\b all\bw manual c\bnfigurati\bn.
    This feature all\bws the c\bnfigurati\bn \bf a NetBIOS ‘d\bmain’ name under which netw\brk h\bsts \bperates. This setting has n\b effect if 
    the ‘Learn NetBIOS inf\brmati\bn fr\bm WAN’ is acti\fated.

    If y\bu want a c\bmputer \br de\fice t\b always ha\fe the same IP address assigned, y\bu can create a DHCP reser\fati\bn. The r\buter will assign the IP 
    address \bnly t\b that c\bmputer \br de\fice. 
    Note: This IP address must be within the DHCP I\ffP Address \bange.
    Check this b\bx t\b enable the reser\fati\bn.

    t\b be all\bwed t\b access these files.
    Check t\b enable sharing files \bn y\bur USB st\brage de\fice that is 
    plugged in y\bur r\buter.
    Check  t\b  enable  HTTP  access  t\b  y\bur  r\buter’s  st\brage.  Y\bu  will 
    ha\fe t\b type HTTP in the URL.
    Enter  a  p\brt  (8181  is  default).  Y\bu  will  ha\fe  t\b  enter  this  p\brt 
    in  the  URL  when  c\bnnecting  t\b  the  shared  files.  F\br  example: 
    (http://192.168.0.1:818\u1).
    Check t\b enable HTTPS (secure) access t\b y\bur r\buter’s st\brage. 
    Y\bu will ha\fe t\b type HTTPS in the URL.
    Enter  a  p\brt  (4433  is  default).  Y\bu  will  ha\fe  t\b  enter  this  p\brt 
    in  the  URL  when  c\bnnecting  t\b  the  shared  files.  F\br  example: 
    (https://192.168.0.1:44\u33).
    T\b create a new user, enter a user name.
    Enter a passw\brd f\br this acc\bunt.
    Re-enter the passw\brd. Click Add/Edit t\b create the user.
    Displays the acc\bunts. The Admin and Guest acc\bunts are built-in 
    t\b the r\buter.
    Displays the USB de\fice plugged int\b the r\buter.

    Access Files from \bhe In\berne\b
    If y\bu w\buld like t\b access y\bur files that are \bn y\bur USB thumb dri\fe \br external hard dri\fe that is c\bnnected t\b y\bur r\buter, f\bll\bw the steps bel\bw:
    Step.1.-.Enab\be. Web.Fi\be.Access
    Check the Enable Web File Access checkb\bx t\b enable. Then select 
    if y\bu want t\b use HTTP \br HTTPS (secure) and enter the p\brt(s) y\bu 
    want t\b use. The default f\br HTTP is 8181 and HTTPS is 4433.
    Step.2.-.Create.a.User.Account
    Under  User Creation , enter a username and passw\brd, and then click 
    Add/Edit. 
    Step.3.-.Configure.your.Access.Path
    Under  User List, click the  Modify ic\bn f\br the user y\bu just created. 
    Here y\bu can br\bwse t\b the f\blder \bn y\bur USB st\brage de\fice y\bu 
    want t\b assign the Access Path t\b. 
    Step.4.-.Save.Settings.
    If y\bu want t\b add m\bre users, repeat steps 3 and 4. Once y\bu are 
    finished,  click  the  Save.Settings   butt\bn  at  the  t\bp  t\b  sa\fe  y\bur 
    settings. 
    N\bte that under the HTTP St\brage Link (at the b\btt\bm) will display 
    the URL(s) y\bu can use t\b c\bnnect. Als\b if y\bu selected HTTPS, y\bu 
    must type in  HTTPS:// instead \bf  HTTP:// t\b get a secure c\bnnecti\bn. 
    F\br  example,  if  y\bu  selected  HT TPS  and  changed  the  p\br t  t\b 
    3200,  and  y\bur  WAN  IP  address  is  1.2.3.4,  then  y\bu  w\buld  enter 
    HTTPS://1.2.3.4:3200 t\b c\bnnect.

    On this page, the user can c\bnfigure the IP\f6 C\bnnecti\bn type. There are tw\b ways t\b set up the IP\f6 Internet c\bnnecti\bn. Y\bu 
    can use the Web-based IP\f6 Internet C\bnnecti\bn Setup Wizard, \br y\bu can manually c\bnfigure the c\bnnecti\bn.
    F\br  the  beginner  user  that  has  n\bt  c\bnfigured  a  r\buter  bef\bre,  click  \bn 
    the  IPv6. Internet. Connection. Setup.Wizard. butt\bn and the r\buter will 
    guide y\bu thr\bugh a few simple steps t\b get y\bur netw\brk up and running.
    F\br  the  ad\fanced  user  that  has  c\bnfigured  a  r\buter  bef\bre,  click  \bn  the 
    Manua\b .IPv6 .Internet .Connection .Setup  butt\bn t\b input all the settings 
    manually.
    T\b c\bnfigure the IP\f6 l\bcal settings, click \bn the  IPv6.Loca\b. Connectivity.
