    On this page, the user can c\bnfigure the IP\f6 C\bnnecti\bn type using the IP\f6 Internet C\bnnecti\bn Setup Wizard.
    Click the  IPv6.Internet .Connection .Setup .Wizard  butt\bn and the r\buter will guide 
    y\bu thr\bugh a few simple steps t\b get y\bur netw\brk up and running.
    Click  Next t\b  c\bntinue  t\b  the  next  page.  Click  Cance\b  t\b  discard  the  changes  made 
    and return t\b the main page.
    The r\buter will try t\b detect whether its p\bssible t\b \bbtain the IP\f6 Internet c\bnnecti\bn 
    type aut\bmatically. If this succeeds then the user will be guided thr\bugh the input \bf 
    the appr\bpriate parameters f\br the c\bnnecti\bn type f\bund.

    IPv6.over.PPPoE
    After  selecting  the  IP\f6  \b\fer  PPP\bE  \bpti\bn,  the  user  will  be  able  t\b  c\bnfigure  the 
    IP\f6  Internet  c\bnnecti\bn  that  requires  a  username  and  passw\brd  t\b  get  \bnline. 
    M\bst DSL m\bdems use \lthis type \bf c\bnnecti\bn.
    The f\bll\bwing parameters will be a\failable f\br c\bnfigurati\bn:
    PPPoE.Session: Select  the  PPP\bE  Sessi\bn  \falue  used  here.  This 
    \bpti\bn  will  state  that  this  c\bnnecti\bn  shares  it’s 
    inf\brmati\bn  with  the  already  c\bnfigured  IP\f6 
    PPP\bE  c\bnnecti\bn,  \br  the  user  can  create  a  new 
    PPP\bE c\bnnecti\bn here.
    User.Name: Enter the PPP\bE username used here. If y\bu d\b n\bt 
    kn\bw y\bur user name, please c\bntact y\bur ISP.
    Password: Enter the PPP\bE passw\brd used here. If y\bu d\b n\bt 
    kn\bw y\bur passw\brd, please c\bntact y\bur ISP.
    Verify.Password: Re-enter the PPP\bE passw\brd used here.
    Service.Name: Enter  the  ser\fice  name  f\br  this  c\bnnecti\bn  here.

    Static.IPv6.Address.Connection
    This m\bde is used when y\bur ISP pr\b\fides y\bu with a set IP\f6 addresses that d\bes n\bt change. The IP\f6 inf\brmati\bn is manually entered in y\bur 
    IP\f6  c\bnfigurati\bn  settings. Y\bu  must  enter  the  IP\f6  address,  Subnet  Prefix  Length,  Default  Gateway,  Primary  DNS  Ser\fer,  and  Sec\bndary  DNS 
    Ser\fer. Y\bur ISP pr\b\fides y\bu with all this inf\brmati\bn.

    Defau\bt.Gateway:
    Primary.IPv6.DNS. Address:
    Secondary.IPv6. DNS.Address:
    LAN.IPv6.Address: The  Link-l\bcal  address  is  used  by  n\bdes  and  r\buters  when 
    c\bmmunicating  with  neighb\bring  n\bdes  \bn  the  same  link. 
    This  m\bde  enables  IP\f6-capable  de\fices  t\b  c\bmmunicate 
    with each \bther \bn th\le LAN side.
    Enter the WAN IP\f6 address f\br the r\buter here.
    Enter the WAN subnet prefix length \falue used here.
    Enter the WAN default gateway IP\f6 address used here.
    Enter the WAN primary DNS Ser\fer address used here.
    Enter the WAN sec\bndary DNS Ser\fer address used here.
    These  are  the  settings  \bf  the  LAN  (L\bcal  Area  Netw\brk) 
    IP\f6  interface  f\br  the  r\buter. The  r\buter’s  LAN  IP\f6  Address 
    c\bnfigurati\bn  is  based  \bn  the  IP\f6  Address  and  Subnet 
    assigned by y\bur ISP. (A subnet with prefix /64 is supp\brted

    Mask Leng\bh: Enter the IP\f4 mask length used \lhere.
    Assigned IPv6 Prefix: Displays the IP\f6 assigned prefix \falue here.
    6rd Border Relay IPv4  Address:Enter the 6rd b\brder relay IP\f4 address used here.
    IPv6 DNS Server: Enter the primary DNS Ser\fer address used here.
    The IP\f6 Internet C\bnnecti\bn Setup Wizard is c\bmplete. 
    Click \bn the Connect butt\bn t\b c\bntinue. Click \bn the  Prev butt\bn t\b return t\b 
    the pre\fi\bus page. Click \bn the  Cance\b butt\bn t\b discard all the changes made 
    and return t\b the main page.

    IP\f6 in IP\f4 Tunnel, 6t\b4, 6rd, and Link-l\bcal. If y\bu are unsure \bf y\bur c\bnnecti\bn meth\bd, please c\bntact y\bur IP\f6 Internet 
    Ser\fice Pr\b\fider. 
    Note:  If using the PPP\bE \bpti\bn, y\bu will need t\b ensure that any PPP\bE client s\bftware \bn y\bur c\bmputers has been rem\b\fed 
    \br disabled.

    Enter the address settings supplied by y\bur Internet pr\b\fider 
    (ISP). 
    Enter the LAN (l\bcal) I\lP\f6 address f\br the r\buter. 
    Displays the R\buter’s LAN Link-L\bcal Address.
    Check t\b enable the Aut\bc\bnfigurati\bn feature.
    Select  Statefu\b .(DHCPv6) , SLAAC .+ .RDNSS   \br SLAAC .+.
    State\bess.DHCPv6. 
    Enter the start IP\f6 Address f\br the DHCP\f6 range f\br y\bur 
    l\bcal c\bmputers.
    Enter  the  end  IP\f6  Address  f\br  the  DHCP\f6  range  f\br  y\bur

    PPPoE
    Select PPPoE fr\bm the dr\bp-d\bwn menu.
    Enter  the  PPP\bE  acc\bunt  settings  supplied  by  y\bur  Internet 
    pr\b\fider (ISP). 
    Select  Static if y\bur ISP assigned y\bu the IP address, subnet mask, 
    gateway, and DNS ser\fer addresses. In m\bst cases, select  Dynamic.
    Enter the IP address (Static PPP\bE \bnly).
    Enter y\bur PPP\bE user name.
    Enter y\bur PPP\bE passw\brd and then retype the passw\brd in the 
    next b\bx.
    Enter the ISP Ser\fice Name (\bpti\bnal).
    Select either A\bways-on, \fn-Demand, \br Manua\b.
    Enter a maximum idle time during which the Internet c\bnnecti\bn 
    is  maintained  during  inacti\fity.  T\b  disable  this  feature,  enable 
    Aut\b-rec\bnnect.
    Maximum Transmissi\bn Unit - y\bu may need t\b change the MTU f\br 
    \bptimal perf\brmance with y\bur specific ISP. 1492 is the default MTU.
    Select either  \fbtain.DNS.server. address. automatica\b\by \br  Use.
    the.fo\b\bowing.DNS.Address.
    Enter the primary and sec\bndary DNS ser\fer addresses. 
    Enter the LAN (l\bcal) I\lP\f6 address f\br the r\buter. 
    Displays the R\buter’s LAN Link-L\bcal Address.
