2.4 Seat
Release the catch (2:S) and fold up the seat brack-
et.
Install the mounting in the rear (upper) holes as 
follows:
1. Install the shoulder washers (2:F) on the screws 
(2:G).
2. Insert the screws through the slots in the brack-
et. Place a washer (2:I) between the seat and the 
bracket.
3. Tighten the screws in the seat. Tightening 
torque: 9±1.7 Nm.
If the screws are tightened more than 
9±1.7 Nm, the seat will be damaged.

3.3 Clutch-parking brake (6:M)
(Ready HST)
The pedal (6:M) has the follow-
ing three positions:
•Released. The clutch is not activated. The park-
ing brake is not activated.
•Depressed halfway. Forward drive disengaged. 
The parking brake is not activated.
•Pressed down. Forward drive disengaged. The 
parking brake is fully activated but not locked.
•
3.4 Inhibitor, parking brake (6:N)
The inhibitor locks the (6:M) pedal in the 
depressed position. This function is used

3.10 CLUTCH RELEASE LEVER 
(fig. 8) (Ready HST)
A lever for disengaging the variable transmission. 
Enables the machine to be moved by hand without 
the help of the engine. Two positions:
1. Lever pressed in – 
transmission engaged for normal 
operation.
2. Lever pulled out – 
transmission disengaged. The 
machine can be moved by hand.
The machine may not be towed over long distances 
or at high speeds. The transmission could be 
damaged.

5.5 STARTING ENGINE
1. Open the fuel cock (fig. 11).
2. Make sure that the spark plug cable is properly 
in place.
3. Check to make sure that the power take-off is 
disengaged. 
4a. Ready: Put the gear lever in neutral. 
4b. Ready HST: Do not keep your foot on the 
drive pedal. 
5. Starting cold engine – put the throttle control in 
the choke position. Starting warm engine – put the 
throttle control at full throttle (approx. 1 cm behind 
the choke position).

6.4 ENGINE OIL
Change engine oil the first time after 5 hours of 
operation, and subsequently after every 50 hours 
of operation or once a season. 
Change the oil more often (after 25 hours of 
operation or at least once a season) if the engine 
has to operate under demanding conditions or if 
the ambient temperature is high.
Change oil when the engine is warm. Always use 
a good grade of synthetic oil (service grade SF, SG 
or SH). 
The engine oil may be very hot if it is 
drained off...

4. Allow the engine to run continuously for 45 
minutes.
5. Stop the engine. The battery will now be fully 
charged.
6.8.2 Charging using battery charger
When charging using a battery charger, a battery 
charger with constant voltage must be used.
Contact your dealer to purchase a battery charger 
with constant voltage.
The battery can be damaged if a standard type 
battery charger is used.

2.4 Siège
Relâcher la sécurité (2:S) et replier le support du 
siège.
Visser le support par les orifices arrière 
(supérieurs), comme suit :
1. Mettre les rondelles (2:F) sur les vis (2:G).
2. Guider les vis par les encoches du support. Pla-
cer une rondelle (2:I) entre le siège et le support.
3. Serrer les vis dans le siège. Couple de serrage : 
9±1,7 Nm.
Serrer davantage les vis endommagera 
le siège.
4. Vérifier que le siège coulisse facilement dans

3.3 Embrayage - frein de station-ne-
ment (6:M) (Ready HST)
La pédale (6:M) se règle sur 
trois positions :
•Relâchée. Lembrayage nest pas activé. Le 
frein de stationnement nest pas activé.
• Enfoncée à moitié. La marche avant est désac-
tivée. Le frein de stationnement nest pas activé.
•Enfoncée . La marche avant est désactivée. Le 
frein de stationnement est tout à fait activé mais 
nest pas verrouillé.

3.10 LEVIER DE DÉBRAYAGE 
(fig. 8) (Ready HST)
Levier permettant de débrayer la transmission 
variable, ce qui permet de bouger la machine à la 
main, moteur éteint. Deux positions sont possibles 
:
1. Levier enfoncé – la 
transmission est activée pour un 
fonctionnement normal.
2. Levier tiré – débrayage de la 
transmission. La machine peut 
être déplacée manuellement.
Ne pas remorquer la machine sur 
de longues distances ou à des vitesses élevées pour 
éviter d’endommager la transmission....
