15 Installing Your Machine Adjusting the Volume You can adjust the monitor and ringer volume on your machine. The built-in speaker enables you to hear the dial tone, dialing signals, and busy tone. User Parameters 18 Your machine has several basic settings (User Parameters) to help you keep records of the documents you send or receive. For example, the built-in clock keeps the current date and time, and your LOGO and ID Number help to identify you when you send or receive documents. These parameters can be programmed via your PC by using the Configuration Editor included with the Panasonic Document Management System software CD-ROM (included with the machine).
