Select a route folder to start the search. E-mail addresses registered in the se-
lected folder are search targets.

Starting SSL communication
ASelect [SSL] using {U} or {T}, and then press the {OK} key.
BSelect [On] using {U} or {T}, and then press the {OK} key.
Use SSL to communicate with the LDAP server.
To use SSL, the LDAP server must support SSL.
When SSL is set to [On], the port number automatically changes to 689.
SSL setting must be enabled on this machine. For details, consult your net-

AEnter the user name, and then press the {OK} key.
When [On] or [High Security] is selected for the authentication setting, use the
administrator account name and password. Do not enter the administrator
account name and password when using authentication for individual users
or each search.
Procedures for setting the user name differ depending on server environ-
ment. Check your server environment before making the setting.

Testing the connection
APress [Con.Test].
Access the LDAP server to check the proper connection is established. Check
authentication works according to the authentication settings.

Setting search conditions

This function does not check Search Conditions or Search Base.

You can select the original orientation when using the Combine/Series, or
two-sided originals to 1-sided duplex function.
Type 1
You can select the original orientation when making Combine/Series cop-
ies.

❖Rotate Sort
Specify whether or not to select rotate sort when the {Sort} key is pressed.
The default setting is Off.
When you select [On], you can select [Rotate Sort].
When you select [Off], you cannot select [Rotate Sort]. If you press the {Sort}
key, only Sort is enabled.
When using Type 1 without the optional tray paper unit, you cannot use this
setting.
