2. Release Start/Stop-loop G to stop the engine 
(fig. 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18). This loop must not 
be disengaged (e.g. through fixing it in the de-
pressed position against the steering), as the en-
gine cannot be stopped.
3. If the lawn mower is left unattended to, remove 
the lead from the spark plug.

Fill with new oil: use oil of SAE 30 or SAE 10W-
30 quality. The crankcase holds approx. 0.6 litre. 
Fill until the oil reaches the “FULL/MAX” mark 
on the dip stick. Do not fill with too much oil.
AIR FILTER
A dirty and blocked air filter reduces the engine 
output and increases engine wear.
Briggs & Stratton LS 45 (fig. 21): Carefully re-

WINTER STORAGE
Empty the fuel tank. Start the engine and let it run 
until it stops. The same petrol must not remain in 
the tank for more than one month.
Tip up the mower and screw out the sparking plug. 
Pour a teaspoon of engine oil in the sparking plug 
hole. Pull out the starting handle slowly so that the 
oil is distributed in the cylinder. Screw in the 
sparking plug.
Thoroughly clean the mower and store it indoors in 
a dry place.

Utilice siempre gasolina sin plomo. No hay que 
utilizar gasolina de dos tiempos con mezcla de 
aceite.
NOTA! Tenga en cuenta que la gasolina es un pro-
ducto perecedero, no compre más de la que puede 
consumir en 30 días.
ARRANQUE DEL MOTOR

pare el motor (fig. 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18). Este 
estribo no debe ponerse fuera de funcionamien-
to (por ejemplo, fijándolo en la posición de 
apretado contra el manillar), pues no podría pa-
rarse entonces el motor.
3. Si el cortacésped se deja desatendido, desaco-
plar el cable de la bujía.

el aceite en un recipiente. Poner cuidado con el 
césped.
Ponga aceite nuevo: Utilice aceite SAE 30 o SAE 
10W-30. El cárter tiene una capacidad de unos 0,6 
litros. Ponga aceite hasta la marca de “FULL/
MAX” en la varilla. No llene demasiado.

INVERNAJE
Vaciar el depósito de combustible. Arrancar el mo-
tor y dejarlo funcionar hasta que se para. En el de-
pósito no hay que dejar la misma gasolina más de 
1 mes.
Levantar la máquina y quitar la bujía. Verter una 
cucharada sopera de aceite de motor por el orificio 
de la bujía. Tirar del mango de arranque lentamen-
te para que el aceite se distribuya por el cilindro. 
Volver a montar la bujía.
Limpiar bien la máquina y guardarla bajo techo y 
en lugar seco.
