Q N Fault Check STARTER SYSTEM 25. Drive faulty a. b. c. Remove starter: check condition of pinion and starter ring gear Inertia drive, check that pinion rotates freely Check that crankshaft rotates freely d. 26. Ignition circuit fault Lock torque, free running speed and current Rectification a. Renew pinion or ring gear b, Renew inertia drive c. Check for engine fault, tight or siezed d.
