    Issue:WhenyouopenaniLOFederationpage,iLOpeersandassociateddatamightbemissing
    fromthepage,andthefollowingerrorisdisplayed:
    Errors occurred during query, returned data may be incomplete or
    inconsistent.
    Thiserrormightoccurwhenanetworkcommunicationerror,configurationproblem,orfailediLO
    systempreventstheretrievalofdatafromallsystemsinaniLOFederationgroup.
    Solution1:Waitfortwicetheconfiguredmulticastinterval,andthenrefreshtheiLOFederation
    page.IfaniLOsystemwasreconfiguredandcannolongercommunicatewiththelocaliLOsystem,
    itwillbedroppedfromitspeerrelationshipsaftertheyexpire.Thisshouldeliminatethequery
    error.
    Solution2:ChecktheMulti-SystemMappageforerrors.Thispagecanhelpyouidentify

    agentstopassinformationthroughiLO,iLOdevicedriversmustbeinstalled.Forinstallation
    instructions,see“InstallingtheiLOdrivers”(page34).
    IfyouhaveinstalledthedriversandagentsforiLO,verifythatiLOandthemanagementPCare
    onthesamesubnet.YoucanverifythisquicklybypingingiLOfromthemanagementPC.Consult
    yournetworkadministratorforproperroutestoaccesstheiLOnetworkinterface.
    UnabletoupgradeiLOfirmware
    •Solution1:IfyouattempttoupgradetheiLOfirmwarebyusingtheiLOwebinterface,andit
    doesnotrespond,doesnotacceptthefirmwareupgrade,orisstoppedbeforeasuccessful
    upgrade,tryreinstallingthefirmwareafteryoucompletethefollowingdiagnosticsteps:
    1.AttempttoconnecttoiLOthroughthewebbrowser.Ifyoucannotconnect,thereisa
    communicationissue.

    Whenthecomputerisbooting,thekernelperformsimagevalidationonthemainimage.Ifthe
    imageiscorruptedorincomplete,thekernelentersFailedFlashRecovery.FailedFlashRecovery
    activatesanFTPserverwithiniLO.TheFTPserverenablesyoutosendanimagetoiLOfor
    programming.TheFTPserverdoesnotprovideanyotherservices.
    AnetworkclientcanconnecttotheFTPserver.Theusernamefortheconnectionistest,andthe
    passwordisflash.TosendafirmwareimagetoiLO,usetheFTPclientPUTcommand.After
    receivingtheimage,iLOvalidatestheimage.Iftheimageisacomplete,signed,andvalidfirmware
    image,thekernelbeginsprogrammingtheFLASHpartition.
