    Delete Monthly Subscriber Traffic Data
    Perform the following  step s to delete monthly sub sc rib er traffic  d ata: 
    1. At the AUDIX Data Deletion menu, selec t 4) Monthly Sub sc riber Traffic  
    Data.
    The following sc reen appears: 
    The Old est Data and  Latest Data show what d ata is p resent on the PC. 
    The start and  stop  d eletion months d efault to the month of the old est 
    monthly sub sc riber traffic  d ata rec ord . You c an c hang e the start d eletion 
    month and  leave a g ap  in the rec ord s, b ut this is not rec ommend ed . 
    2. If you wish, c hang e the stop  d eletion month, otherwise use the d efault 
    month. 
    3. Press   (CHANGE/RUN) to delete the rec ord s you have sp ec ified . 
    PC 2 A U D I X p ro m p t s  yo u ,  Do you want traffic files from 
     to  deleted?
     
    4. Enter y
     to d elete the sp ec ified d ata, otherwise enter n. 
    If you enter n
    , you 
    c an enter d ifferent start and  stop  months, or use a func tion key to exit 
    without d eleting  d ata. 
    When the req uested  d ata has b een d eleted , a messag e ap p ears on the 
    Status line showing  how many files were deleted . 
    5. If you wish to d elete ad d itional rec ord s, rep eat step  2 throug h step  4.

    1. At the AUDIX Data Deletion menu, selec t 6) Monthly Billing  Data. 
    The following sc reen appears: 
    The Old est Data and  Latest Data show what d ata is p resent on the PC. 
    The start and  stop  d eletion months d efault to the month of the old est 
    monthly billing  c alc ulation d ata rec ord . You c an c hang e the start d eletion 
    month and  leave a g ap  in the rec ord s, b ut this is not rec ommend ed . 
    2. If you wish, c hang e the stop  d eletion month, otherwise use the d efault 
    month. 
    3. Press   (CHANGE/RUN).

    Restoring Retrieved Data
    The Restore Data from Diskette sub menu lets you restore seven typ es of d ata 
    files. This op tion restores d ata from p revious b ac kup s b y c op ying bac ked  up  
    d ata from d iskettes to your PC. Use this p roc ed ure if you have a fixed disk failure, 
    or if you wish to insp ec t d ata that has b een p reviously b ac ked  up  and  then 
    d eleted  from your PC. 
    NOTE:
    If you a larg e file has b een stored  on multip le d isks, PC2AUDIX p romp ts 
    you to insert the next d iskette.
    !CAUTION:
    These restore p roc ed ures OVERWRITE c urrent d ata on the fixed  d isk. If you 
    are p erforming  a restore op eration to insp ec t old  d ata, b ac k up  the c urrent 
    d ata first. Then, when you are throug h insp ec ting  the old  d ata you restored , 
    restore the c urrent data you b ac ked  up .
    Perform the following  step s to restore d ata from d iskette(s) to your PC: 
    1. At the Data Manag ement Op tions menu, selec t 3) Restore Data from 
    Diskette. 
    The following submenu appears. 
    2. Selec t the op tion c orresp ond ing  to the typ e of d ata you wish to restore. 
    This sec tion d esc rib es how to restore eac h d ata typ e. 
    NOTE:
    If a sing le file is restored  b ac ked  up  to multip le d iskettes, b e sure to 
    restore d iskettes in the p rop er ord er (d isk 1 first, then d isk 2).

    Restore Hourly System Traffic Data
    This op tion restores hourly system traffic  d ata, inc lud ing  feature traffic , load  
    traffic , network load  traffic , c ommunity traffic , and  sp ec ial features traffic . 
    Perform the following  step s to restore hourly system traffic  d ata: 
    1. At the Restore Data from Diskette menu, selec t 1) Hourly Data. 
    The Restore Hourly System Traffic  Data sc reen ap pears. (All restore 
    sc reens c onsist of func tion key lab els.)
    2. Press   (CHANGE/RUN) to start the restore. 
    The following messag es ap p ear:

    op tions to p roc eed  or exit as b efore.)

    5. Enter y
     to restore the file, otherwise enter n
     to skip  restoring  it. 
    When you have restored  (or not restored ) the d isp layed  file, PC2AUDIX 
    p rompts you to restore the next monthly sub sc rib er traffic  file in seq uenc e. 
    6. Rep eat steps 4 and  5 to restore other monthly subsc riber traffic  files. 
    When all monthly sub sc rib er traffic  files have b een restored  (or not 
    restored ), PC2AUDIX d isp lays the numb er of files restored. 
    7. Press   (CHANGE/RUN) to c ontinue restoring  monthly sub sc rib er traffic  
    files. Do this if you inad vertently c hose not to restore a file in the p revious 
    step s or if a p rob lem was enc ountered  with the d iskette and  you need  to 
    retry the op eration.
