    Description 
    This c ommand  retrieves d ata for the following sc reens for starting  and  end ing  
    d ate, starting  and  end ing  time, and  extension that you sp ec ify: 
    nINTUITY AUDIX  Disp lay Ac tivity-Log 
    nDEFINITY AUDIX  Disp lay Ac tivity-Log 
    nR1 AUDIX (R1V5 and  b eyond )  system : ac tivity log  : disp lay
    When used  with an R1 AUDIX System, the following  options are req uired  when 
    retrieving  d ata: a
    , e, d, t, s, h
    . When you want to turn off retrieval only, -a n
     is 
    req uired . 
    When used  with an I
    NTUITY or DEFINITY AUDIX System, this c ommand does not 
    turn on or off the ac tivity log  (see g etalog p  and  setalog p ). Only the op tion e
     is 
    req uired. By d efault, all entries for the ind ic ated  extension are returned . 
    The sc reen is up d ated with any of the options you sp ec ify exc ep t r
    , v, w, or n
    . For 
    the R1 AUDIX System, ADAP up dates the system : ac tivity log  : sp ec ific ation 
    sc reen with the d ate and  time of the retrieval before retrieving  the data. For 
    I
    NTUITY or DEFINITY AUDIX Systems, ADAP updates the specification fields of 
    the Disp lay Ac tivity-Log  sc reen while retrieving  the d ata. The voic e mail system 
    retains the values you supp ly after the retrieval is c ompleted
    . 
    No inp ut is required . Retrieved  data is written to stand ard outp ut.

    release Retrieves d ata for the sp ec ified  release of the I
    NTUITY AUDIX, 
    DEFINITY AUDIX, or R1 AUDIX (R1V5 and  b eyond ) System 
    software. The DEFINITY AUDIX System d efault is D-r3.2. The 
    I
    NTUITY AUDIX System d efault is I-r5.0. 
    -v
    Writes transfer statistic s to the sc reen at the end  of the transfer. 
    Pre ss i n g  -v
     while the c ommand  is exec uting  send s the up d ated  
    transfer status to the sc reen. 
    -w
    Writes a one-line summary of the exit status of this c ommand  
    into the file, form_req.rc. 
    -V
    Writes the ADAP version numb er for this c ommand  and  exits 
    without transferring  any sc reens data.

    Errors 
    If the ac tivity log  was ac tivated  then deac tivated , only the data p rior to the 
    d eac tivation date/time is availab le. This is sub jec t to the numb er of entries that 
    the system ac tivity log  hold s, as spec ified on the I
    NTUITY or DEFINITY AUDIX 
    Systems Disp lay System-Parameters Ac tivity-Log  sc reen or on the R1 AUDIX 
    system : limits  sc reen. 
    If no ac tivity log  d ata exists that fits the sp ec ified  searc h, no outp ut is written. 
    !CAUTION:
    The following c aution ap p lies only to the R1 AUDIX System: If op erators on 
    the loc al maintenanc e terminal (LMT) and the loc al ad ministration terminal 
    c onc urrently ac c ess the same sc reen information, outp ut on either terminal 
    c ould  p rematurely terminate or reflec t other und esirab le c hang es.
