							If IJNetworkScannerSelectorEX2  is not displayed on the Start screen, select the
Search  charm, then search for "IJ Network Scanner Selector EX".
						

							5.In the Settings(GeneralSettings)  dialog box, click OK.
The IJ Scan Utility main screen reappears. You can scan via a network connection.

							ForwardingScannedDatatoComputerUsingOperationPanelBefore forwarding scanned data to the computer, check the following:

Select  PC  and press  OK button.

Select computer to forward scanned data and press  OK button.
Select  Local(USB)  for a USB-connected computer, or select the computer to forward the scanned data
for a network-connected computer.
The Scan standby screen is displayed.

							DocumentScans the original on the platen glass or in the ADF as a document data applying the settings
specified in  Scansettings .
Photo Scans the original on the platen glass as a photo data applying the settings specified in  Scan
settings .

Press right  Function button to adjust settings as necessary.
Setting Items for Scanning Using Operation Panel
Note

						

							If you continue scanning, load the original on the platen glass and start scanning.
If you do not continue scanning, press the left  Function button. The scanned data is forwarded
to the computer.
Scanned data is forwarded to the computer according to the settings specified in Canon IJ Scan Utility.
Remove the original on the platen glass or from the document output slot after scanning is complete.
Ifprogramselectionscreenappears(Windows):
The program selection screen may be displayed after pressing the  Color or Black  button. In this case,
select  CanonIJScanUtility  and click OK.
Ifyouwanttoscanoriginalswithadvancedsettings,orifyouwanttoedit orprintscannedimages:
If you scan originals from a computer, you can edit the scanned images, such as optimizing or trimming.
In addition, you can edit or print the scanned images using the compatible application software to make
better use of them.
