Select  AttachtoE-mail  and press OK button.

Select  E-mailfromPC  and press OK button.

Select computer to forward scanned data and press  OK button.
Select  Local(USB)  for a USB-connected computer, or select the computer to forward the scanned data
for a network-connected computer.
The Scan standby screen is displayed.
6.
Select document type.
Document Scans the original on the platen glass or in the ADF as a document data applying the settingsspecified in  Scansettings .
Photo Scans the original on the platen glass as a photo data applying the settings specified in  Scan
settings .
7.
Press right  Function button to specify settings as necessary.

							SendingScannedDataasE-MailfromMachineYou can send scanned data as an e-mail from the printer.
Before you use this function, check the following.
						

							A.
Select the recipient(s) from the address book. Press the OK button to display the address book
and select the recipient(s).
B.
Enter recipient's e-mail address. Press the  OK button to display the input screen and enter the
address.
C.
Select the recipient(s) from the input log. Press the  OK button to display the input log and select
the recipient(s).
7.
Perform mail sending settings.
The screen below appears.
A.
Enter the subject. Press the  OK button to display the input screen.
B.
Press the  OK button to select the items below.
1.
Press the  OK button to check the address. Pressing the right  Function button returns to the
previous screen.
2.
Pressing the  OK button and selecting  Yes deletes the recipient.
3.
Press the  OK button twice to change to Cc (carbon copy).

							RegisteringRecipients'E-MailAddressBefore you can use the printer's address book, you need to register the recipients' e-mail address. Follow
the procedure below to register the recipients' e-mail address.1.
Make sure printer is turned on.

Select   Scan  on HOME screen.

Select  Edite-mailaddressbook  and press OK button.
6.
Select  Displaye-mailaddressbook  and press OK button.
The screen to select an ID number is displayed.
