							Android PrintUse the Canon printing plug-in
Canon Print Service  is a printing plug-in for Android 4.4.2 or later, and is available for free on Google
Play. Installing and activating the plug-in enables your Android smartphone or tablet to print to a Canon
printer over a wireless LAN.
Printing via Mopria You can print to a Canon printer from a Mopria compatible Android smartphone or tablet over a wireless
LAN.

AirPrint enables you to print photos, email, Web pages and documents from iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and
Mac without the need to install drivers, or download apps or software.

							Deleting Print JobTo delete a print job with AirPrint, use one of the following two methods:

						

							Using Machine with Direct ConnectionDirect connection allows you to print or scan by connecting the machine to a device such as a smartphoneor tablet via wireless connection in an environment where a wireless router is not available. In addition, you
can connect the machine to a device without a wireless router even where it is available.
This section describes following operations for direct connection.
						

							The Change LAN  screen is displayed.

							Printing Network Settings1.
Turn on wireless communication on your device.
Enable "Wi-Fi" on your device's "Setting" menu. For more on turning on wireless communication, see your device's instruction manual.

Select "DIRECT-XXXX-MG7700 series" ("X" represents alphanumeric characters.) from
list displayed on device.
3.
Enter password.
Your device is connected to the machine.

If you do not use the machine over wireless LAN, select  Activate wired LAN or Disable LAN .
Changing Direct Connection Setting Change the settings for the direct connection following the procedure below.

Make sure machine is turned on.

Flick HOME screen and tap   Setup .
Using the Operation Panel

Tap  Device settings .
4.
Tap LAN settings .
5.
Tap Other settings .
6.
Tap Direct connection settings .
7.
Change settings as necessary.

						

							1.Tap touch screen.2.
Enter device name (up to 32 characters).
3.
Tap OK to finish entering device name.
4.
Tap  OK to finish specifying device name.
