PIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud LinkPIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud Link is a web service provided by Canon. Save scanned images to data storage
services through integration with various cloud services without using a computer.
Using PIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud Link
Short-Range Wireless Communication Technology "Near Field Communication" (NFC)
Start scanning to an Android smartphone by placing the Android smartphone over the NFC mark on the
operation panel of the machine.

							Using PIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud LinkBy using PIXMA/MAXIFY Cloud Link, you can connect your printer to a cloud service, such as CANON
iMAGE GATEWAY, Evernote, or Twitter, and use the following functions without using a computer:
						

							Scanning by Placing a Smartphone over MachineThe machine supports NFC (Near Field Communication), a short-range wireless communication technology.
By placing an NFC-enabled Android smartphone or tablet over the NFC mark on the operation panel of the machine, you can scan items placed on the platen glass of the machine.

Download and install "Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY".

setup, check the network settings and try again.

Are machine and network device (router, etc.) turned on?
Make sure machine is turned on.
Confirming that the Power Is On
Make sure network device (router, etc.) is turned on.
If machine or network device is off:
Turn on machine or network device.
It may take a while for the machine and network device to become ready for use once they are turned on. Wait a while after turning on the machine or network device, and then click  Redetect on the Check
Printer Settings  screen to redetect the machine.
If the machine is found, follow the instructions on the screen to continue to set up network communication.
If machine and network device are on:
If the machine cannot not be found after trying to redetect it, even though the machine and the network device are on, go to Check 2.

Is machine set to allow wireless communication?Make sure the 
 or  icon is displayed on the touch screen.
If icon is not displayed: The machine is not set to allow wireless communication. Turn on wireless communication on the machine.
Once you have turned on wireless communication, click  Back to Top on the Check Printer Settings
screen to redo the network communication setup from the beginning.
If icon is displayed: Go to check 3.
