    							No Ink Comes Out
    Check1 Has ink run out?
    Open the operation panel and check the ink lamp.
    Checking Ink Status
    Check2  Is orange tape or protective film still on ink tank?
    Make sure all the protective film is peeled off to expose the Y-shaped air hole, as shown below (A). If the orange tape remains on the ink tank (B), peel it off.
    Check3  Are print head nozzles clogged?
    Print the nozzle check pattern to determine whether the ink ejects properly from the print head nozzles. For details on printing the nozzle check pattern, print head cleaning, and print head deep cleaning, see 
    If Printing
    Is Faint or Uneven .
    
    						
    							Paper Does Not Feed Properly/"No Paper" Error
    Check1 Make sure paper is loaded.
    Loading Paper
    Check2 When loading paper, consider the following.

    Check1 Is disc tray placed properly?
    Open the disc tray guide, properly place the disc tray again and tap  OK on the touch screen.
    Use the disc tray supplied with this machine ("J" is on the upper side).

    Check2
     Is printable disc placed on disc tray?
    Place the printable disc on the disc tray properly and tap  OK on the touch screen.
    Use the disc tray supplied with this machine ("J" is on the upper side).

    Check3
     If disc label printing stops before it is complete, try operation again.
    If a certain period of time has elapsed while disc label printing is in progress, the machine stops initializing.
    To resume initializing, tap  OK on the touch screen.
    Try the operation again following the on-screen instructions.
    Disc Tray Does Not Feed Properly
    Check1  Is disc tray placed properly?
    Open the disc tray guide, properly place the disc tray again and tap  OK on the touch screen.
    Make sure you are using the disc tray supplied with the machine ("J" is on the upper side).

    Check2
     Unrecognizable printable disc may be placed.
    Canon recommends that you use printable discs specially processed to be printed on by an inkjet printer.

    							Disc Tray Jammed
    Pull out the disc tray gently.
    If the disc tray cannot be pulled out, turn the machine off and turn it back on again. The disc tray will automatically be ejected.
    When the disc tray is pulled out, place the disc tray ("J" is on the upper side) again and retry printing. For

    If the disc tray is still jammed, check if there is a problem with the printable disc.
    Disc Tray Does Not Feed Properly

    							Automatic Duplex Printing Problems
    Check1 Is automatic duplex printing selected?

    Check1 Is the disc tray guide opened while printing on paper?
    Close the disc tray guide and tap  OK on the touch screen.
    Check2
     Is paper loaded?
    Make sure paper is loaded.
    If necessary, load paper.
    Check3  Do documents to be printed have many photographs or illustrations?
    It takes time for the machine and the computer to process large data such as photos or other graphics, so it may
    seem that the machine is not working.
    Also, if you are printing data that requires a lot of ink on successive sheets of plain paper, the machine may
    pause temporarily. In either case, wait until the process is complete.

    							Cannot Print Using AirPrint
    Check1 Make sure machine is turned on.
    If the machine is turned on, turn it off and back on, and then check whether the issue is resolved.
    Check2  Make sure machine is connected by LAN to same network subnet as AirPrint
    compliant device when printing over LAN.
    Check3  Make sure machine has enough paper and ink.
    Check4  Make sure no error message is displayed on machine's touch screen.
    If the problem is not resolved, use the printer driver on your computer to execute printing and check whether
    the document can be printed normally on the machine.
