ADVANCED FEATURES 94 Fax Forward Setting Fax Forward This feature allows all incoming faxes or emails to be forwarded to the destination station registered in the Phone Book. Once the faxes or emails are received into memory, the machine will forward the received document(s) to the telephone number or email address pre-registered in the Phone Book. This function is convenient when you would like to receive faxes or emails in another place (i. e. your home) at night or during a holiday. Make sure that the INTERNET lamp is ON. NETWORK FEATURE 99 Network Features Network Scanner You can import Fax images by using the DP-2500/3000 transmission function. Storing a specific email address into a Phone Book allows you to import picture images by pressing a single key. 1a Place original(s) face up on the ADF. or 1b Place a book or an original face down on the Platen Glass. 2 To improve the scanning quality, you can temporarily change the Resolution to S-FINE and if you are scanning color photographs or illustrations with gray tones, change the Halftone setting to PHOTO. 3 Dial by any combination of the following methods: Manual Email Addressing, press after each station is entered. (Up to 70 stations) Phone Book Email Addressing. (Up to 200 stations) 4 LAN PC Internet Fax DP-2500/3000 PC Images Images SET

NETWORK FEATURE 100 Network Printer The DP-2500/3000 allows you to print documents created on your PC using various software applications. To be able to use this function, install the Printer Driver and LPR software downloaded from the web site first. (See page 20) (see Note 1) (see Note 2) 1 Select the DP-2500/3000 as your default printer on the PC. 2 From any software application, instruct your PC to print to the DP-2500/3000. 3 The DP-2500/3000 receives and prints the document. NOTE 1. The DP-2500/3000 is unable to receive print jobs while it is engaged in a communication task. After the communication job is completed, the PC will transfer the print job to the DP-2500/3000 for printing. 2. The IP Address, Subnet mask and Default Router IP Address (TCP/IP Gateway Address) must be programmed on the DP-2500/3000 to be used as a Network Printer. LANInternet Fax DP-2500/3000 PC
