Release the lever by pressing it inwards. 
Then move it upwards or downwards to 
the desired position.
The lever has five positions which give mowing 
heights of between 35 and 75 mm.
2. BLADE ENGAGEMENT LEVER
Lever for engaging the drive for the mower deck. 
There are two positions:
1. Lever in the front position - the blade 
rotates.
2. Lever in the rear position - the blade do 
not rotate. Blade brake activated.
3. SERVICE BRAKE/CLUTCH
A pedal that combines both the service brake and 
clutch. There are three positions:
1. Pedal released - forward 
drive engaged. The machine 
will move if a gear is engaged. 
Service brake not activated.
2. Pedal only half depressed - 
forward drive released, gear-
shifting can be performed. 
Service brake not activated.
3. Pedal fully depressed - for-
ward drive released. Service 
brake fully activated.
4. PARKING BRAKE
An inhibitor that can lock the brake pedal in the de-
pressed position.
Depress the brake pedal fully. Move the 
brake inhibitor to one side and then re-
lease the brake pedal. 
The parking brake is released by pressing the brake 
pedal lightly. The spring-loaded inhibitor slides to 
one side.
Make sure the parking brake is released when op-
erating the machine.
5. THROTTLE/CHOKE CONTROL
A control for setting the engine speed and to choke 
the engine when starting from cold.
1. Stop position - engine short circuited 
(only Scoop).2. Idle.
3. Full throttle - when the machine is in 
operation, full throttle should always be 
used. Full throttle positioned 1 - 1.5 cm 
from the lower edge of the groove. 
4. Choke - for starting a cold engine. 
Choke positioned at the bottom of the 
groove. 
6. GEAR LEVER 
Scoop:
A lever for selecting one of the three forward gears 
in the gearbox (1 - 2 - 3), neutral (N), or reverse 
(R).
Garden:
A lever for selecting one of the five forward gears 
in the gearbox (1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5), neutral (N), or re-
verse (R).
The clutch pedal must be kept depressed when 
changing gear.
NOTE! You must make sure the machine is quite 
stationary before changing from reverse to forward 
gear or vice versa. If a gear does not engage imme-
diately, release the clutch pedal and depress it 
again, and then engage the gear once again. Never 
force a gear in.
7. STARTER KEY (Scoop ES - 
Garden)
An ignition key used for starting and stopping the 
engine. There are three positions:
1. Stop position - engine short circuited. 
The key can be be removed. 
2. Run position (without symbol). 
3. Start position - the electric starter motor 
is activated when the key is turned to the 
spring-loaded start position. Once the en-
gine has started, allow the key to return to 
the run position. 
USING THE MACHINE
AREAS OF USE
The machine may only be used for the following 
tasks using the STIGA accessories stated:
1. MowingSTOP
STOP

Using the mower deck originally fitted.
Accessory mower decks 13-2925 (= side
discharge 72 cm) or 13-2926 (= Multiclip
72 cm) may be used with Garden models.
2. Grass clipping and leaf collection (only Gar-
den)
Using towed collector 13-1978 (30”).
3. Grass and leaf transport (only Garden)
Using load trailer 13-1979.
4. Fertiliser spreading (only Garden)
Using fertiliser spreader 13-1987. Can also
be used for spreading grass seed, sand or salt.
The maximum vertical load on the towing hitch 
must not exceed 100 N.
The maximum over-run load on the towing hitch 
from towed accessories must not exceed 500 N.
NOTE! This machine is not designed to be driven 
on public roads.
NOTE! Before using a trailer, contact your insur-
ance company.
BEFORE STARTING
You must read these instructions for use 
and the accompanying pamphlet 
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS careful-
ly before starting up the machine. 
SAFETY SYSTEM
This machine is equipped with a safety system that 
consists of: 
- a switch on the gear box.
- a switch in the seat mounting.
- a switch near the blade engagement lever.
- a replaceable, electronic safety module that
controls the system.
In order to start the machine the following are nec-
essary:
- gear lever in neutral.
- driver sitting on seat (does not apply to Scoop
with manual start).
- blade engagement lever at rearmost setting
(i.e. blade disengaged)
Always check the operation of the safe-
ty system before using the machine!
Check in the following way:- start the engine, sit on the seat, select a gear,
lift your weight off the seat - the engine must
stop. 
- start the engine again, sit on the seat, engage
the blade, lift your weight off the seat - the
engine must stop.
Do not use the machine if the safety sys-
tem does not work! Take the machine to 
a service agent for inspection.
FILLING THE PETROL TANK
Always use pure unleaded petrol. 2-stroke 
fuel must not be used.
NOTE! Bear in mind that petrol is a perishable, do 
not purchase more petrol than can be used within 
30 days.
Petrol is highly inflammable. Store pet-
rol in a container intended for this pur-
pose.
Always fill the petrol tank outdoors and 
do not smoke while filling. Fill the pet-
rol before starting the engine. Never re-
move the petrol cap or fill with petrol 
while the engine is running and or when 
it is still warm.
CHECK THE OIL LEVEL
The crankcase is filled with SAE 30 oil on deliv-
ery.
Always check the oil level before use. The ma-
chine should be on level ground.
Remove the dipstick B and then dry it. 
Place it fully into the hole again and tight-
en. 
Remove the dipstick once again and read off the oil 
level. Fill with oil up to the “FULL” mark if the 
level is lower than this (fig 11 - 12).
STARTING THE ENGINE
1. Open the fuel shut-off valve (Garden).
2. Make sure that the sparking plug cable is prop-
erly in place. 
3. Make sure the mower deck is disengaged. Blade 
engagement lever moved backwards.
4. Put the gear lever in neutral. 
5. Starting cold engine - put the throttle control in 
the choke position. Starting warm engine - put the

throttle control at full throttle (1 - 1.5 cm above the 
choke position). 
6a. Scoop:
Engage the parking brake.
6b. Scoop ES - Garden:
Depress the brake pedal fully. 
7a. Scoop (manual start):
Remove the engine cover. Grip the starter handle. 
Pull out the starter cord slowly until you feel some 
resistance. Release (slowly) to its original position. 
Now pull the starter cord quickly and decisively.
7b. Scoop ES - Garden (electric start):
Turn the starter key and start the engine. 
8. Once the engine has started, move the throttle 
control gradually to full throttle if the choke has 
been used. 
9. When starting from cold do not make the ma-
chine work under load immediately, but let the mo-
tor run for some minutes first. This will allow the 
oil to warm up. 
STOPPING
Move the blade lever backwards into the disen-
gaged position. Engage the parking brake.
Allow the engine to idle for 1 - 2 minutes. 
Scoop:
Set the throttle lever to STOP. 
Scoop ES - Garden: 
Stop the engine by switching off the ignition key. 
Remove the key. 
Close the fuel shut-off valve (Garden). 
If the mower is left unattended remove 
the spark plug cable from the spark 
plug.
The engine can be extremely warm im-
mediately after stopping. Do not touch 
the muffler, cylinder or the cooling fins. 
As these can cause burns.
MOWING HINTS
Before you begin to mow your lawn remove any 
stones, toys and solid objects. 
Pinpoint any fixed objects before you start to mow 
unknown lawns. Loose and/or fixed objects can 
cause serious damage to the mower deck. 
Avoid mowing wet grass (during or immediately after a rain shower).
Keep your hands and feet away from 
the rotating blade. Never put your hand 
or foot under the mower deck or in the 
grass deflector while the engine is run-
ning.
If the engine should stop because the grass is too 
thick. Disengage the blade and move the machine 
to an area previously cut before engaging the 
mower deck again.
For the best “Multiclip” effect follow this advice 
(concerns Garden Multiclip - Garden Combi):
- mow regularly
- use full throttle on the engine
- keep the underside of the mower deck clean
- use sharp blades
- do not mow wet grass
- mow twice (using different mowing heights)
if the grass is long.
OPERATING
Make sure that the right amount of oil is in the ma-
chine before starting to mow on slopes (oil level on 
“FULL”).

suddenly while going up or down the 
slope. Never mow across the slope. 
Drive up and down and down and up.
The machine, equipped with original 
accessories, must not be driven on 
slopes greater than 10° in any direction.
Reduce speed on slopes and while turn-
ing sharply thus preventing the ma-
chine from overturning or that you lose 
control over the machine.
MAINTENANCE
No service should be carried out on the 
engine or mower deck unless:
-the engine has been stopped.
-the ignition key has been removed.
-the spark plug cable has been 
removed from the spark plug.
-the parking brake has been engaged.
-the mower deck has been disengaged.
MAINTENANCE TIPS
The machine has been designed so that it can be

placed on the bumper for maintenance work (fig 
13). 
If the machine is to be stood on its side, 
the petrol and engine oil must first be 
drained off. In addition, the battery 
must be removed from Garden models. 
CLEANING 
Rinse off the underside of the mower deck using a 
garden hose. 
NOTE! Do not aim the jet of water directly at the 
transmission or air filter. 
CHANGING ENGINE OIL
Change the oil for the first time after 5 hours run-
ning and then at every 50 hours running, or at least 
once a season. Change oil when the engine is 
warm.
Always use a good grade of oil (service grade SF, 
SG or SH).
The engine oil may be very warm if it is 
drained off directly after the engine is 
shut off. Therefore, allow the engine to 
cool a few minutes before draining the 
oil.
1a. Scoop - Scoop ES:
Tilt the machine to the right (viewed from rear). 
Remove the oil dip-stick. Insert the enclosed pump 
into the oil-filler tube and suck the oil out into a 
container (fig 14).
1b. Garden:
Tilt the machine to the left (viewed from rear). 
Screw out the oil drain plug J (fig 15). Let the oil 
run out into a collection vessel. Do not allow oil to 
get on the v-belts. Screw in the plug again.
2. Remove the dipstick and fill up with new oil.
Oil quantity:
Scoop, Scopp ES - 0.65 litre.
Garden - 1.4 litre.
Oil type summer: SAE-30
(SAE 10W-30 can also be used. However, oil con-
sumption can increase somewhat if 10W-30 is 
used. Therefore check the oil level more re-gularly 
if you use this type of oil).
Oil type winter: SAE 5W-30
(SAE 10W-30 can also be used).
Use oil without any additives.Do not overfill with oil as this can result in the en-
gine overheating. 
Check the oil after refilling, the level should be on 
“FULL”. 
LUBRICATION
The front axle has four lubrication points K (fig 
16). Fill with grease (use a grease gun) once per 
season.
Grease the steering gears L a couple of times each 
season (fig 17).
Also grease other moving parts on the machine a 
couple of times per season. 
BATTERY (Garden).
Check the acid level regularly.
The acid level should be between the “UPPER” 
and “LOWER” on the battery. When adjusting the 
level only use distilled water (battery water). 
Battery acid is corrosive and can cause 
injury to your skin and damage your 
clothes. Use rubber gloves and protec-
tive glasses. Avoid inhaling the acid 
fumes. 
Do not tip the battery so that battery 
acid can run on to your hands or 
clothes. If this should occur rinse thor-
oughly with water.
If the battery terminals are oxidized these should 
be cleaned using a wire brush and then greased. 
AIR FILTER 
Important! Never run the engine without the air fil-
ter fitted. 
Foam filter (pre-cleaner): Clean every 3 months or 
after 25 running hours. 
Paper filter: Change annually or after 100 running 
hours. More frequently if the machine is used in 
extremely dusty conditions.
1. Remove the protective cover of the air filter and 
the foam filter (fig 18 - 19).
2a. Scoop:
Wash the pre-cleaner M in liquid detergent and wa-
ter. Squeeze dry. 
2b. Garden:
Wash the pre-cleaner M in liquid detergent and wa-
ter. Squeeze dry. Pour a little oil on the filter and

squeeze in the oil.
3. Lift out the paper filter N and thoroughly clean 
the air filter housing to prevent dirt from entering 
the carburettor.
4. Clean the paper filter as follows: Knock it light-
ly against a flat surface. If the filter is very dirty, 
change it.
5. Assemble in the reverse order.
Petroleum-based solvents such as kerosene must 
not be used for cleaning the paper filter as these 
can destroy the filter.
Do not use compressed air for cleaning the paper 
filter. The paper filter must not be oiled. 
KEEP ENGINE CLEAN 
The engine is air cooled. A blocked air system will 
damage the engine. 
The cylinder cooling flanges and air inlet should 
be cleared of grass and dirt every 5 hours or every 
day (fig 20 - 21). This is particularly important 
when mowing dry grass. 
The area around the silencer should be cleaned in 
order to prevent fire.
Use compressed air or a brush for cleaning. Do not 
clean the engine with water.
During prolonged mowing of dry grass, the inner 
cooling fins on the engine may require cleaning. 
Contact an authorised service centre.
SPARK PLUG 
Check and clean the spark plug after 100 running 
hours.
Clean the spark plug using a wire brush (do not 
sand blast) and reset the spark gap to 0.75 mm. 
Replace the sparking plug if the electrodes are bad-
ly burnt. For replacing a sparking plug, a sparking 
plug sleeve AC and torsion pin AD are provided in 
the plastic bag containing accessories (only on 
Garden). 
The engine manufacturer recommend: 
Scoop: Champion RC12YC. 
Garden: Champion J19LM. 
CARBURETTOR
The carburettor is correctly adjusted when it leaves 
the factory and any other adjustments are generally not needed.
Despite this, if the carburettor needs adjusting con-
tact a service centre. 
ADJUSTING THE CLUTCH/BRAKE
If the drive belt slides (it can stretch a little if worn) 
there is an adjuster on the clutch/brake rod. 
Adjust: Move the locking pin O to the rear hole 
(fig 22).
The brakes are adjusted using nut P on the brake 
arm (fig 22).
After adjustment, make sure the clutch is always 
activated before the brake. 
DISMANTLING THE MOWER DECK
1. Engage the parking brake.
2. Lift the machine on its bumper.
If the machine is to be stood on its side, 
the petrol and engine oil must first be 
drained off. In addition, the battery 
must be removed from Garden models.
3. Set the lowest cutting height and remove the 
locking pin Q (fig 23). 
4. Dismantle the two rear locking pins R and the 
cable to the switch on the mower deck (fig 24). 
5. Pry-off the v-belt from the pulley (bend the belt 
guide S upwards) (fig 25).
6. Lift off the mower deck.
CHANGING THE V-BELT
ENGINE - MOWER DECK
1. Dismantle the mower deck (see above).
2. Remove the belt holder T. Lift off the old belt 
(fig 26). 
3. Fit a new genuine v-belt in the reverse order.
CHANGING THE V-BELT 
ENGINE - TRANSMISSION
1. Engage the parking brake.
2. Lift the machine on its bumper.
If the machine is to be stood on its side, 
the petrol and engine oil must first be 
drained off. In addition, the battery 
must be removed from Garden models.
3. Dismantle the mower deck (see above).

4. Loosen the spring U and remove the tension 
roller V (fig 25). 
5. Loosen the belt guide X and turn it to the side.
6. Pry-off the old belt over the gearbox pulley. 
Work from above the machine and use the hole in 
the bottom plate.
7. Pry off the belt from the engine pulley. Bend 
down the belt guide S and place the belt in the low-
er groove. Bend up the belt guide and remove the 
old belt.
8. Fit a new genuine v-belt in the reverse order.
ADJUSTING THE BLADE BRAKE 
1. Set the blade lever in the rear, disengaged posi-
tion.
2. Loosen the blade brake Y and adjust so that it 
lies flat against the pulley (fig 26).
3. Tighten the screws and nuts. 
Replace the blade brake pad when it has be-come 
worn.
BLADE
Make sure the blade is always sharp. This gives the 
best mowing results.
SHARPENING 
For safety reasons the blade must not be sharpened 
on an emery wheel. Incorrect sharpening (= high 
temperature) can result in the blade becoming brit-
tle.
When the blade is due to be sharpened, the wet 
grinding method with a waterstone or grindstone is 
to be used.
Following sharpening, the blade must 
be balanced to avoid vibration damage.
CHANGING BLADE
Always use original spare parts when changing the 
blade, blade attachment or bolt.
Always use original spare parts. Using 
non-original spare parts can result in 
the risk of damage even if they fit in the 
machine.
When changing the blade, the blade centre bolt 
should also be replaced. It is provided with a lock-
ing device. The blade bolt torque: 65 Nm.
SPARE PARTS
STIGA original spare parts and accessories are 
constructed exclusively for STIGA machines. 
Note that non original spare parts and accessories 
have not been checked or approved by STIGA:
Usage of such parts and accessories can 
influence the machines operability and 
safety. STIGA cannot be held responsi-
ble for injuries caused by these prod-
ucts.
STIGA reserves the right to make changes in the product 
without prior notice.

MONTAGE
Pour éviter les dommages physiques et 
matériels, ne pas démarrer le moteur 
avant davoir effectué lensemble des 
points du MONTAGE.

Un sac plastique est livré avec la machine, ce sac contient:

VOL A NT
Monter le volant sur la colonne de direction à laide 
de la goupille jointe et enfoncer le manchon sur la 
colonne de direction.
Les rondelles (AL et AM) se trouvant dans le sa-
chet des accessoires de montage doivent être mon-
tées entre les tubes inférieur et supérieur du volant. 
Elles ont pour but de compenser le jeu axial éven-
tuel. 0, 1 ou 2 rondelles peuvent être nécessaires 
(fig 4).
BATTERIE (Scoop ES)
La batterie étant fermée, il n’est pas nécessaire de 
la remplir d’acide.
La batterie est montée sur la machine à l’usine de 
production. Cependant, il est nécessaire de raccor-
der le câble noir à la borne négative de la batterie 
(fig 5) avant la première mise en service.
Ne pas courtcircuiter les pôles de la bat-
terie. Les étincelles qui se produiraient, 
peuvent causer un incendie. Ne pas por-
ter des bijoux en métal qui risqueraient 
dentrer en contact avec les pôles.
Ne pas faire tourner le moteur la batterie débran-
chée. 
BATTERIE (Garden)
La batterie est rechargée à sec, ce qui signifie 
quelle doit être remplie dacide avant son utilisa-
tion.
Le remplissage dacide daccumulateur 
doit se faire dans un endroit bien éclai-
ré, où lon a accès à de leau de rinçage 
en abondance. Lacide est corrosif. Uti-
liser des gants de protection et manipu-
ler lacide avec beaucoup de prudence 
pour éviter den renverser.

Lacide peut provoquer des lésions de la 
peau et endommager les vêtements ou 
autres matériaux avec lesquels il entre 
en contact.
Il est recommandé dutiliser des lunet-
tes de protection pour se protéger les 
yeux. Eviter dinhaler les vapeurs aci-
des.
Sortir avec précaution les flacons de leur carton. 
Remplir les accumulateurs. Le niveau dacide doit 
se trouver entre les marques “UPPER” et 
“LOWER” de la batterie (fig 6).
Le niveau dacide peut baisser quelque peu après le 
remplissage. Attendre pour cette raison une ving-
taine de minutes avant de contrôler le niveau daci-
de de chaque élément. Remplir dacide en cas de 
besoin.
Laisser la batterie se reposer deux heures avant de 
lutiliser.
Ne pas courtcircuiter les pôles de la bat-
terie. Les étincelles qui se produiraient, 
peuvent causer un incendie. Ne pas por-
ter des bijoux en métal qui risqueraient 
dentrer en contact avec les pôles.
NOTE! Pour éviter toute avarie du moteur ou de la 
batterie, connecter le câble (+) en premier à la bat-
terie (fig 7).
Ne pas faire tourner le moteur la batterie débran-
chée. 
PRESSION DES PNEUMATIQUES
Vérifiez la pression de gonflage des pneumatiques. 
Pression correcte:
Avant: 1,7 bar (24 psi)
Arrière: 0,6 bar (9 psi)
UNITE DE COUPE
Le parallélisme du système de coupe par rapport 
au sol se règle à laide des écrous D placés sur les 
suspensions arrière de lensemble de coupe (fig 8).
Rejet vers larrière (Scoop):
Lunité de coupe est montée sur la machine à la li-
vraison.
Multiclip (Garden Multiclip - Garden Combi):
Lunité de coupe est montée sur la machine à la li-
vraison.
Rejet sur le côté (Scoop ES - Garden Collector):
Lunité de coupe est montée sur la machine à la li-vraison mais doit être complétée avec une écran 
déflecteur et un tube éjecteur. 
1. Démonter les câbles de batterie.
2. Démonter la sécurité couteau E (fig 9A).
3. Monter lécran déflecteur F ou le tube éjecteur G 
(fig 9A). Utiliser les mêmes vis et écrous que pour 
la sécurité couteau.
4. Une troisième vis A est jointe à lécran déflec-
teur (ne concerne pas Scoop ES). Cette vis sera 
montée sur le côté du couvercle du système de cou-
pe dans la rainure située sur lécran déflecteur (fig 
9A). Bien enfoncer lécran déflecteur avant de met-
tre la vis. 
5. Monter les câbles de batterie.
Ne jamais mettre la tondeuse en marche 
avant davoir remplacé la sécurité cou-
teau par lécran déflecteur ou par le 
tube éjecteur. 
Collecteur d’herbe (Garden Combi):
Lunité de coupe est montée sur la machine à la li-
vraison mais doit être complétée avec un tube éjec-
teur. 
1. Démonter les câbles de batterie.
2. Démonter le couvercle C (fig 9B).
3. Monter le tube éjecteur G (fig 9B). Utiliser les 
mêmes vis et écrous que pour le couvercle.
Ne jamais mettre la tondeuse en marche 
avant davoir remplacé le couvercle par 
le tube éjecteur. 
4. Monter les câbles de batterie.
COLLECTEUR DHERBE (Accessoi-
re)
Monter le collecteur dherbes suivant les instruc-
tions de montage fournies séparément.
Le tube éjecteur G ne doit être utilisé quavec le 
collecteur dherbe au complet.
Lors de lutilisation de collecteur dherbe, lensem-
ble des pièces constituant celui-ci doivent être 
montées sur la machine (fig 10).

Ne jamais utiliser la machine sans mon-
ter le sac collecteur H et le long tuyau 
déjection I. Risque de projections de 
cailloux et autres objets, pouvant cau-
ser des blessures corporelles aux per-
sonnes et aux animaux, ainsi que des 
dégâts matériels.
Attention au couteau rotatif. Ne jamais 
introduire une main ou un pied dans 
louverture déjection.
REGLAGE
Voir figures 1 - 3.
1. LEVIER DE REGLAGE DE LA HAU-
TEUR
Levier servant au réglage de la hauteur de léquipe-
ment de coupe par rapport au sol.
Libérer le levier en le poussant vers linté-
rieur. Puis, le relever ou labaisser jusquà 
obtention de la hauteur voulue.
Le levier peut être positionné dans cinq positions 
différentes, ce qui permet dobtenir des hauteurs de 
coupe comprises entre 35 et 75 mm.
2. LEVIER DACTIVATION DU COU-
TEAU
Levier servant à lactivation de léquipement de 
coupe. Deux positions:
1. Levier dans sa position avancée - le 
couteau tourne.
2. Levier dans sa position reculée - le cou-
teau ne tourne pas. Frein de couteau acti-
vé.
3. FREIN DE SERVICE/EMBRAYAGE
Pédale combinant les fonctions de freinage et

est possible de passer une vites-

3. Pédale entièrement enfoncée 
- entraînement au point mort. 
Frein de service totalement ac-
tivé. 
4. FREIN DE STATIONNEMENT
Verrou servant à maintenir la pédale dans la posi-
tion enfoncée.
Enfoncer la pédale entièrement. Déplacer 
le verrou sur le côté, puis relâcher la péda-
le.
Une simple pression sur la pédale permet de libérer 
le frein de stationnement. Le verrou à ressort glisse 
alors sur le côté. 
Veiller à désactiver le frein de stationnement lors 
de la conduite de la machine. 
5. COMMANDE DACCELERATEUR/ 
STARTER
Commande servant au réglage du régime moteur et 
au démarrage du moteur à froid. 
1. Position darrêt - moteur courtcircuité 
(Scoop seulement).
2. Marche au ralenti.
3. Pleins gaz - toujours faire marcher la 
machine à pleins gaz lors de son utilisa-
tion. La position à pleins gaz est à 1 - 1,5 
cm du bas de la rainure.
4. Starter - pour le démarrage du moteur à 
froid. La position de starter est tout en bas 
de la rainure.
6. LEVIER DE COMMANDE DES VI-
TESSES 
Scoop:

tions de marche avant de la boîte à vitesses (1 - 2 -

3), le point mort (N), ou la marche arrière (R). 
Garden:
Levier servant à enclencher lune des cinq posi-
tions de marche avant de la boîte à vitesses (1 - 2 - 
3 - 4 - 5), le point mort (N), ou la marche arrière 
(R). 
Lors de lenclenchement dune vitesse, la pédale 
dembrayage doit être enfoncée.
NOTE! Veiller à ce que la machine soit immobili-
sée avant dalterner entre la marche avant et la mar-
che arrière. Si une vitesse ne senclenche pas 
directement, relâcher, puis enfoncer de nouveau la 
pédale dembrayage. Repasser la vitesse. Ne ja-
mais enclencher une vitesse de force. 
7. CLE DE DEMARRAGE (Scoop ES - 
Garden)
Dispositif dallumage servant au démarrage et à 
larrêt du moteur. Trois positions:
1. Position darrêt - le moteur est court-cir-
cuité. Il est possible de retirer la clé.
2. Position de conduite (aucun symbole).
3. Position de démarrage - le démarreur 
électrique sactive lorsque la clé est ame-
née dans la position de démarrage. Après 
démarrage du moteur, ramener la clé à la 
position de conduite. 
UTILISATION DE LA MACHINE
DOMAINE D’UTILISATION
La machine doit être utilisée uniquement pour les 
travaux suivants avec les accessoires STIGA d’ori-
gine:
1. Tonte de l’herbe
Avec équipement de coupe monté d’origine.
Pour Garden, utiliser l’accessoire 13-2925
(= éjection latérale 72 cm) ou 13-2926 
(= Multiclip 72 cm).
2. Ramassage de l’herbe et des feuilles (Garden)
Avec collecteur remorqué 13-1978 (30”).
3. Transport de l’herbes et des feuilles (Garden)
Avec remorque de transport 13-1979.4. Epandage d’engrais (Garden)
Avec épandeur d’engrais 13-1987. Peut aussi
servir d’épandeur de semences, de sable et de
sel.
L’équipement de remorquage (concerne Garden) 
supporte une force verticale de 100 N max.
Force de poussée maximale de l’accessoire remor-
qué: 500 N.
NOTE! Cette machine nest pas prévue pour une 
conduite sur réseau routier.
NOTE! Avant dutiliser une remorque, consulter 
votre société dassurance.
AVANT DEMARRAGE
Avant le démarrage, lire attentivement 
ce mode demploi ainsi que les CON-
SIGNES DE SECURITE fournies sé-
parément.
SYSTEME DE SECURITE
Cette machine est équipée dun système de sécurité 
comprenant les éléments suivants:
- un interrupteur sur la boîte de vitesse.
- un interrupteur dans la fixation du siège.
- un interrupteur près du levier dactivation du
couteau.
- linterrupteur est commandé par un systéme
électronique. 
Pour démarrer la machine, procéder de la façon 
suivante:
- mettre le levier de commande des vitesses 
au point mort. 
- le conducteur sinstalle sur le siège (ne 
concerne pas Scoop avec démarrage manuel).
- mettre le levier dactivation du couteau sur 
la position arrière (= couteau débrayé).
Le fonctionnement du système de sécu-
rité devra être contrôlé avant chaque 
utilisation!
Le contrôle du système de sécurité seffectue de la 
façon suivante:
- mettre le moteur en marche, sasseoir sur le
siège et passer une vitesse. Soulever légère-
ment le corps (conducteur) du siège - le 
moteur doit sarrêter. 
- mettre de nouveau le moteur en marche,
sasseoir sur le siège et embrayer le couteau.
Soulever légèrement le corps (conducteur)
du siège - le moteur doit sarrêter.
