    1. Enter the programming mode.

    Single Digit AccessUse this option to enable or disable single 
    digit access. If enabled (Y), users can dial 9 
    to select their assigned dial 9 Trunk Group. 
    If disabled, users must dial 9 followed by the 
    Trunk Group number (0-8 for Trunk Groups 
    0-8).

    0504 - Trunk Port Extension Numbers (Fixed Slot)
    Description
    Use Program 0504- Trunk Port Extension Numbers to assign extension numbers to trunk ports. 
    The extension numbers you enter must be unique and not overlap extension numbers used for 
    extensions, ACI ports, DCI ports and Extension Hunting master numbers. 
    Ports 001 -016 are the system’s physical trunk ports.
    Conditions
    None
    Telephone Programming Instructions
    1. Enter the programming mode.
    2. 0504 + 
    HOLD
    3. Enter the number of the trunk port you want to program (01-32) + HOLD.
    The previously programmed extension number displays.
    4. Enter the number of the extension you want assigned to the port.
    OR
    Press 
    HOLD to leave the entry unchanged. DS2000 Fixed Slot Available.

    Description
    Use Program 0504- View Extension to view the extension assignments for each port (circuit) for 
    each PCB.

    SLOT is the Main Equipment Cabinet slot where the extension or trunk is located. 
    CIRCUIT is the port (circuit) on the PCB assigned to the slot.
    In DS1000, you see:
    The system shows the associated port number.

    0505 - Station Port Extension Numbers (Fixed Slot)
    Description
    Use Program 0505- Station Port Extension Numbers to assign extension numbers to station 
    ports. The extension numbers you enter must be unique and not overlap extension numbers used for 
    trunks, ACI ports, DCI ports and Extension Hunting master numbers.
    Ports 001-096 are the system’s physical extension ports.

    1. Enter the programming mode.
    2. 0505 + 
    HOLD
    3. Enter the number of the station port you want to program (01-96) + HOLD.
    The previously programmed extension number displays.
    4. Enter the number of the extension you want assigned to the port + 
    HOLD.

    CLEAR + HOLD to undefine the selected port (see comment below).
    If you are swapping ports that are within the extension number range (e.g., 300-395), 
    press CLEAR to undefine the two ports you want to swap before reprogramming them. If  DS2000 Fixed Slot Available. Will swap port/extension numbers but not programming.

    0505 - Extension Assignment (U Slot and DS1000)
    Description
    In DS2000, use Program 0505- Extension Assignment to view and change the extension or trunk 
    number assigned to a port (circuit) on an installed PCB. You make the selection based on slot and 
    port (circuit) number.
    In DS1000, use Program 0505 - Extension Assignment to view and change the extension number 
    for each extension, trunk, or Analog Door Box assigned to each port. You make the selection based 
    on the port for each device type.
