    provides an interface path between the phone system’s information BUS 
    and an external, PC-based application such as 3rd-party (integrated) Voice 
    Mail, Enhanced ACD, etc.  An RS232C port (19,200bps maximum) located 
    on the API card provides the external interface connection.
