Replacing the Charge Corotrons
Make sure the machine has stopped running, and open the Front Door.
1.
Pull down the R1-R4 handle.
2.
Raise the Release Handle.
3.
Open the packaging for the new Charge Corotron and gently place the new \
Charge Corotron on a flat 
surface near the machine.
4.
CAUTION:
Do not expose drum cartridges to direct sunlight or strong light from in\
door fluorescent lighting for more 
than two minutes. Image quality may deteriorate when the drum cartridges\
 are exposed to light.
Open the Drum Drawer.

Gently lower the new Charge Corotron into the machine straight down, and\
 not at an angle.
8.
Grasp the amber-gold colored casings on the new Charge Corotron and pull\
 towards the front of the 
machine until you hear a clicking noise to indicate the Charge Corotron \
is in place.
9.
Push in the Drum Drawer completely. Return the Release Handle to its ori\
ginal position.
10.
Return the R1-R4 handle to the original position and close the front doo\
r.
11.
Insert the used Charge Corotron into an empty container for recycling.
12. Grasp both of the amber-gold colored casings on the old Charge Corotron \
and push towards the back of the 
machine. You will hear a clicking noise indicating that it is being rele\
ased.
6.
Remove the old Charge Corotron by holding the amber-gold colored casings\
 provided at the both ends of the 
Charge Corotron and gently pulling straight up.

Staple Replacement - Advanced Finisher or Professional Finisher
Open the Finisher Front Door.
1.
WARNING:
Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
When it is time to replace the staple cartridge, a message will appear o\
n the touch screen. When this message 
appears, replace the staple cartridge with a new one.
Grip the orange lever and pull the cartridge towards you. Dispose of the\
 staple cartridge according to the 
instructions contained in the new staple cartridge box.
2.
Insert the new staple cartridge while gripping the orange lever until yo\
u hear it click into place.
3.
Close the Finisher Front Door.

Main Staple Replacement for Standard Finisher or Booklet Maker Finisher
WARNING:
Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
Open the finisher front cover.
1.
Pull the staple cartridge straight out of the machine.

Remove the staple cartridge from the staple case.

Insert a new staple cartridge into the staple case.

Booklet Maker Staple Replacement for Booklet Maker Finisher
WARNING:
Do not perform this procedure when the printer is copying or printing.
Open the Finisher Front Door.
1. Note:
The booklet maker uses two staple cartridges labeled R2 and R3. Booklet \
stapling requires that both staple 
cartridges contain staples.

Pinch the levers on the Booklet Maker Staple Unit, then extend the unit \
to access the Booklet Maker Staple 
Cartridges.
2.
Hold the tabs of the Booklet Maker Staple Cartridge, and then lift to re\
move it.

Dispose of the staple cartridge according to the instructions contained \
in the new staple cartridge box.
4.
Open a new staple cartride. Holding the tabs of the new Booklet Maker st\
aple Cartridge, return the cartridge to 
the original position and gently push it until you hear it click into pl\
ace.
5.
Repeat steps 3 - 5 to replace the other Booklet Maker Staple Cartridge.
6.
Return the Booklet Maker Staple Unit to its original position.
7.
Close the Finisher Front Door.
