    Subscriber
    Recorded Name Administration
Because subscribers can be dialed by name, it is desirable for all
subscribers to have a name recorded so that the caller can hear the name

Recorded Name Administration feature enables the Voice Mail Service
Administrator to record all subscriber names at the same time.

    							Voice Administration
    Automated Attendant
    Menus and Announcements
Unlike the other AUDIX Voice Power services, which have only greeting
and good-bye messages that may be administered, the Automated
Attendant has four additional features that may be administered.
    n
    n
    n
nDay or Night Service main menu
The Day or Night Service main menu is normally recorded during
the administration of the workspace menus and announcements.
You may change it directly when necessary.
    Temporary Closure Service
The Temporary Closure Service is used for special circumstances
such as impassable roads. A Temporary Closure Message may
be recorded in advance, or when it is required. The selection
of Temporary Closure Service is normally controlled by the
administration of service hours. If you change this directly,
it will stay changed until the next 3:00 am.
Selection of Day or Night Service
The selection of Day or Night Service is normally controlled by the
administration of service hours. If you change this directly, it will
stay changed until the next scheduled change.
    Workspace menus and announcements
The first three items can be administered remotely. A good example is a
snow day. In this case, the Service Administrator might call in and change
the Temporary Closure Message to say: We are closed today because
of the snow emergency. Please call tomorrow.” Similarly, selection of
the Night Service to follow the Temporary Closure Message might be
    appropriate under these conditions.

If the Day or Night Service main menu prompt is changed remotely,
the actual main menu will not be changed. Thus, a caller who was
familiar with the button presses could still use them although they
    are not announced.
    NOTE:
    4-23

    							Voice Administration
As the first three items are intended for remote use, no forms have been
provided for their use. However, it is recommended that you write out any
special announcements before recording them. If you change the main
menu for Day or Night Service, you will have to rerecord it to return to the
previous version. (It is recommended that you use the Temporary Closure
Message instead.) It is a good idea to write down the old message or
menu before recording the new one.
The last item, administration of workspace menus and announcements,
is used to record all menus and announcements used by the Automated
Attendant Service under normal circumstances. The menus to be
    recorded are written
on FORM J and the announcements to be recorded
    are written
    on FORM K.
    An additional item, Remote
at the end of this chapter.
