    							The f ront beverage holder is in the
    centre console compartment. To use
    thebeverageholder,slidethelid
    backward, and move the partition
    f orward until it stops.
    Be caref ul when you are using the
    beverage holders. A spilled liquid
    that is very hot can scald you or your
    passengers. Liquid can also spill
    f rom the door pocket beverage
    holders when you open or close thedoors. Use only resealable
    containers in the door pockets.
    Spilled liquids can damage the
    upholstery, carpeting, and electrical
    components in the interior.
    The rear seat also has a beverage
    holder in the centre armrest. To use
    it, pivot the armrest down. There is a partition in the
    compartment. Slide it backward to
    use the compartment as a storage
    space. You can also remove the
    ashtray by pulling it straight up to
    extend the compartment.
    To close the compartment, slide the
    lid f orward.

    							Your vehicle has one or two
    accessory power sockets depending
    on the model. One is on the lef t side
    in the luggage area and the other is
    in the console compartment.
    This socket is intended to supply
    power f or 12 volt DC accessories
    that are rated 120 watts or less (10
    amps).To use it, the ignition switch must be
    in the ACCESSORY (I) or the ON
    (II) position. It will not power an
    automotive type cigarette lighter
    element.
    It is recommended that this
    accessory socket is used f or genuine
    Honda accessories.
    Make sure to put the socket cover
    back in place to prevent any small
    foreign objects from getting into the

    							To use the sun visor, pull it down.
    You can also use the sun visor at the
    side window. Remove the support
    rod f rom the clip and swing the sun
    visor toward the side window.
    Make sure you put the sun visor
    back in place when you are getting
    into or out of the vehicle. Touseacoathook,slideitout
    slightly, then pull it down.
    Make sure the coat hook is pulled up
    when you are not using it. This hook
    is not designed f or large or heavy
    items. To open the centre pocket, pull up

    							You can also lower this lid to the
    bottom of the storage area to extend
    the luggage space. Open the lid, pull
    it toward you f ully to disengage the
    lid f rom the support rods, then lower
    the lid on the bottom of the storage
    area. There is a storage area under the
    f loor in the luggage area. To keep
    the lid open, hook the strap to the
    anchor on the back of the luggage
    area cover (if equipped).
    On some types, the compact spare
    tyre is stored in this area. Pull up the vanity mirror cover to use
    it.
    The lights come on when you pull up
    the cover.

    							The ignition switch must be in the
    ACCESSORY (I) or ON (II) position
    for the cigarette lighter to work. To
    heat up the lighter, push it in. It will
    pop out when it is ready f or use. Do
    not hold the lighter in while it is
    heatingup,youcouldcauseitto
    overheat. To lower the lid:

    							Use the ashtray only f or cigarettes,
    cigars, and other smoking materials.
    To prevent a possible f ire and
    damage to your vehicle, don’t put
    paper or other things that can burn
    in the ashtray. Open the front ashtray by lifting the
    lid up. To remove the ashtray f or
    emptying or making the
    compartment bigger, open the
    console compartment by sliding the
    lid backwards, then lif t the ashtray
    straight up. If youpushinthecigarettelighter
    without the ignition switch in the
    ACCESSORY (I) or the ON (II)
    position, it will not pop out. To return
    the cigarette lighter in place, you
    must turn the ignition switch on. Do
    not try to pull it out f orcibly.

    							The f ront ceiling light has a two-
    position switch. In the DOOR
    position, the light comes on when
    you open any door. In the OFF
    position, the light does not come on.
    To select the door position, push the
    button to pop it out.
    The f ront ceiling light also contains
    two spotlights. Push the button next
    to the light to turn it on and off. You
    can use the spotlights at all times.The rear ceiling light has a three-
    position switch; ON, Door Activated,
    and OFF. In the Door Activated
    (centre) position, the light comes on
    when you: The f ront ceiling light (with the
    switch in the DOOR position) also
    comes on when you unlock the door
    with the key or the remote
    transmitter, and when you remove
    the key from the ignition switch.

    							The courtesy light between the sun
    visorscomesonwhenyouturnthe
    position lights on. To adjust its
    brightness, turn the instrument
    panel brightness control knob on the
    dashboard with the ignition switch in
    the ON (II) position (see page ). The ignition switch light comes on
    when you open the driver’s door, and
    f ades out in about 30 seconds af ter
    you close the door. Open any door.
    After all the doors are closed tightly,
    the f ront and rear ceiling lights dim
    slightly, then f ade out in about 30
    seconds.
    If you leave any door open without
    the key in the ignition switch, the
    ceiling lights will go of f af ter 3
    minutes.Remove the key from the ignition
    switch. If you do not open a door,
    the light f ades out in about 30
    seconds.
    Unlock the doors and the tailgate
    with the key or remote transmitter.
