ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. It is a reminder to check
    the parking brake. A beeper
sounds if you drive with the
parking brake not f ully released.
Driving with the parking brake not
    fully released can damage the
brakes and tyres. This indicator normally comes on f or
a f ew seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. If it comes on at any other
time, there is a problem with the
ABS. If this happens, have your

This indicator comes on brief ly when
you turn the ignition switch to the
ON (II) position. It will go of f if you
    have inserted a properly-coded
ignition key. If it is not a properly-

and the engine’s f uel system will be
disabled (see page ).This indicator normally comes on f or
a f ew seconds when you turn the
ignition switch to the ON (II)
position. If it comes on at any other
time, or if it does not come on when
you turn the ignition switch to the
ON (II) position, there is a problem
    with the i-SHIFT control system.
    Avoid rapid acceleration, f requently
shif ting, and driving at high speed,
and have the vehicle checked by
your dealer as soon as possible.
When this indicator comes on, you
will hear a beep as a reminder. You
will also see the symbol ‘‘ ,’’ or
    this symbol with a ‘‘CHECK

inf ormation display (see page ).This indicator also comes on while
driving if the clutch system is
overheating. It will go of f when the
    clutch system temperature comes
down. If this indicator goes of f while
driving to your dealer, you can
    continue driving normally. For more

Do not drive the vehicle while the
indicator is on or the engine may be
    damaged. This indicator shows the
temperature of the engine coolant. It
    normallycomesonwhenyouturn
the ignition switch to the ON (II)

    seconds. In normal driving
    conditions, this indicator should not
blink or stay on. In severe driving
conditions, such as very hot weather
or a long period of uphill driving, this
indicator may blink. This means the
    engine coolant temperature is high.
If the indicator begins to blink while
you are driving, be sure to slow down
    to prevent overheating. If the
indicator stays on, pull safely to the
side of the road and turn of f the
engine. See page f or instructions

engine’s cooling system. You will also see the symbol ‘‘ ,’’
or this symbol with an ‘‘ENGINE

multi-inf ormation display. This indicator shows the
temperature of the engine coolant. If
there is no problem, this indicator

This indicator has two f unctions:
If it comes on while driving [over
    25 km/h (15 mph)], it indicates
that one of your vehicle’s tyres
    may be low on pressure.
You will also see the symbol
    ‘‘ ’’ or this symbol with a
    ‘‘CHECK TYRE PRESSURE’’
    message on the multi-inf ormation
display. If this happens, pull to the side of the
road when it is saf e, check which
tyre has lost the pressure, and
determine the cause. If it is because
of a f lat tyre, replace the f lat tyre
with the compact spare (if equipped)
(see page ) or use the tyre repair
kit (if equipped) (see page ).
Then have the f lat tyre repaired as
soon as possible. If two or more tyres
are underinf lated, call a prof essional
towing service (see page ). This
    indicator may come on unexpectedly
due to the condition of your tyres or
road surf aces. For more inf ormation,
see page .If this indicator begins to f lash,
there is a problem with the

When you press the hazard warning
