. ASSOCIATED WITH MORE THAN ONE DEFECTIVE STATION OR TRUNK BEING
    SERVED BY MULTIPLE CARDS.
    . PROBLEMS MAY RESULT FROM:
    - INTERFACE SIGNAL ASSOCIATED WITH A GROUP OF CARDS BEING SHORTED
BY A DEFECTIVE CARD OR OPENED BY A DEFECTIVE BACKPLANE.
    - DEFECTIVE SWC CARD WHICH IS CONTROLLING THE GROUP.
. THREE TYPES OF INTERFACE SIGNAL PROBLEMS MAY OCCUR:
    1. SIGNALS ASSOCIATED WITH EACH OF THE SIX INTERFACE CARD GROUPS
(WHERE EACH ICG HAS ONE INBOUND AND ONE OUTBOUND BUS TO/FROM THE
    SWC).
    2. SIGNALS ASSOCIATED WITH ICG 0 THROUGH 2 AND ICG 3 THROUGH 5 (WHERE
LOAD SHARING ALLOWS SEVERAL CLOCK AND TIMING SIGNALS FOR
ALL LINE/TRUNK CARDS TO BE DRIVEN FROM THE SWC BY TWO SEPARATE
    GATES).
    3. SIGNALS USED TO DISTRIBUTE TIME SLOTS AMONG THE CARD SLOTS IN EACH
ICG (WHERE EACH ICG HAS ITS OWN BUS AND THREE CARD SLOTS, EXCEPT
ICG 5 WHICH HAS A FOURTH CARD SLOT).
