~DE~CRIPTI~N~INTERNAL DATA COMMUNICATIONS CAN BE ACCOMMODATED FOR CSD TELEPHONES
EQUIPPED WITH A DATA ADAPTER (DTA) USING AN RS-232-C INTERFACE BETWEEN
THE CSD AND A CUSTOMER SUPPLIED DATA TERMINAL STATION.
CALLS CAN BE ESTABLISHED AS VOICE ONLY, DATA ONLY, OR SIMULTANEOUSVOICE/DATA.
SYSTEM PROVIDES ASYNCHRONOUS OR SYNCHRONOUS COMMUNICATION IN FULL
OR HALF DUPLEX MODES WITH SPEEDS OF UP TO 19,200 BPS. DATA TERMINAL
STATION ATTRIBUTES FOR BOTH THE SENDING AND RECEIVING TERMINALS MUST BEMADE COMPATIBLE WITHIN THE SYSTEM DATA BASE.
DATA TERMINAL STATIONS CAN BE PROGRAMMED TO INITIATE DATA CALLS IN AUTO
ORIGINATE OR MANUAL ORIGINATE MODE AND RECEIVE DATA CALLS IN AUTO
    ANSWER OR MANUAL ANSWER MODE.
DATA CALLS CAN BE RELEASED USING EITHER NORMAL
    DICONNECT OR AUTOMATIC
DISCONNECT MODES.DATA TERMINAL STATIONS ARE ASSIGNED DATA TERMINAL STATION DIRECTORY
NUMBERS USING A FLEXIBLE NUMBERING PLAN SEPARATE FROM THE VOICE STATION
    DIRECTORY NUMBERING PLAN.
OPTIONAL DATA FEATURES INCLUDE ASSIGNMENT TO CLASS OF SERVICE LEVELSFOR DATA TERMINAL STATIONS, ASSIGNMENT TO DATA TERMINAL STATION HUNT
GROUPS, OR ESTABLISHMENT OF DATA TERMINAL STATION HOT LINES.
DATA TERMINAL STATIONS CAN BE ASSIGNED TO TENANT AND METERING GROUPS.
