DIAGRAM REPRESENTS A TYPICAL EXAMPLE OF
    CROSS
    CONNECTlONS FOR A DIU INSTRUMENT.
EACH DIU REQUIRES ONLY ONE PAIR OF WIRES FOR
TIP AND RING. ON THE CDF TERMINAL BLOCK, ONLY
    EVERY OTHER
    PAIR OF WIRES IS USED.
EXAMPLE ILLUSTRATES A CDF CROSS CONNECTION
    FOR AN
8DTC INTERFACE CARD IN SLOT 00, USING
    CABLE NUMBER
    (CN)O. CONNECTOR BLOCK WOULD

.DIU IS CONNECTED DIRECTLY TO A CIRCUIT ON THE 8DTC CARD AND USES ONE 64 KBPS CHANNEL.
.THE DIU CAN ACCOMMODATE A PRINTER, DATA TERMINAL, OR MODEM (DTE/DCE) OF UP TO 19.2 KBPS
    SYNCHRONOUS/ASYNCHRONOUS WITH ITS RS-232-C INTERFACE.
1.WIRE CROSS CONNECTION FOR THE DIU TO A CDF TERMINAL BLOCK FROM A CIRCUIT ON THE 8DTC CARD (REFER
TO CDF CROSS CONNECTION TABLE IN GTEP MANUAL).
2.FOR HOTEL/MOTEL CONFIGURATION CONNECT THE PRINTER TO THE DIU WITH RS-232-C CABLE. THE PRINTER AND
DIU MUST BE IN DATA TERMINAL EQUIPMENT (DTE) MODE.
3.FOR USE WITH A MODEM, CONNECT MODEM TO DIU WITH RS-232-C CABLE. THE DIU MUST BE IN DATA
